The thirteenth cast has been announced for Agatha Christie's Witness for the Prosecution at London County Hall, Plus the production will extend until 26 April 2026. The new cast will begin performances from 18 March this year.

All aboard for a new rendering of The Girl on the Train at Salisbury Playhouse, with clever background projection to lift a journey that doesn’t quite make its connection.

The trial of Leonard Vole will continue at London County Hall as the run of Agatha Christie's Witness for the Prosecution is extended to 25 September 2022. The hit production returned to the historic venue in September with a brand-new cast and was met by standing ovations and critical acclaim. 

Based on Agatha Christie’s 1925 short story, Witness For The Prosecution was well-established at London’s County Hall before the pandemic. It now makes a welcome return and is as ingenious as ever. We are all used to seeing television adaptations of Christie’s work, but Lucy Bailey’s creative version takes all the theatrics of a courtroom and translates it neatly into a truly immersive production.

Audiences were welcomed back to the iconic London County Hall last night as Agatha Christie’s Witness for the Prosecution reopened with a brand-new cast following a 78 week closure due to the pandemic. The acclaimed production opened its doors in time to celebrate what would have been Agatha Christie’s 131st birthday today, Wednesday 15 September.

Joe McNamara makes his professional stage debut as the accused, Leonard Vole. He will be joined by Emer McDaid as Romaine,  Jonathan Firth as Sir Wilfrid Robarts, Teddy Kempner as Mr Mayhew, Miles Richardson as Mr Myers and Martin Turner as Mr Justice Wainwright.   

Eleanor Lloyd Productions and Rebecca Stafford Productions have announced casting for Agatha Christie’s Witness for the Prosecution as they look forward to welcoming audiences back to the acclaimed play at London County Hall from 14 September.

Shakespeare's Globe has announced further casting for Everything I Ever Wanted to Tell My Daughter About Men, a new black comedy by actor and writer Lorien Haynes, directed by Tara Fitzgerald (Brassed Off, Game of Thrones), being hosted in the Sam Wanamaker Playhouse on Thursday 20 February.

The latest Made in Northampton production from Royal and Derngate is Patrick Hamilton's GASLIGHT, starring Tara Fitzgerald and Jonathan Firth. Verity Wilde was there for Broadwayworld.

G'ninth G'normous year at the Pleasance! Tim Fitzhigham and Duncan Walsh Atkins return for one week only with their award-winning, hilarious show. Featuring the songs and wit of those masters of mayhem, mirth and Madeira, and legends of 1950s and 60s comedy, Flanders and Swann. The show runs Upstairs (Pleasance Courtyard) from 18th to 25th August at 14:15 (15:15).

Sheffield Theatres presents Shakespeare's The Winter's Tale, directed by Paul Miller. Starring alongside the previously announced Daniel Lapaine (Muriel's Wedding) as Leontes in The Winter's Tale is Claire Price, who returns to Sheffield Theatres to play his wife, Hermione. Claire will be familiar to Sheffield audiences having appeared in numerous productions including The Daughter-in-Law, Company, The Pride, Don Carlos, Much Ado About Nothing, Mean Tears - as part of The Peter Gill Season, Richard III and The Tempest.
