Screen Media has acquired North American rights The Jesus Rolls, according to Deadline.

From Friday, June 28 through Thursday, July 4, BAM presents a 30th anniversary run of Brooklyn icon Spike Lee's culture-shifting masterpiece Do the Right Thing (1989). Screenings before 6pm will play in a newly restored 4K DCP; screenings after 6pm will play in a brand new 35mm print.

AMC Networks announced today the premiere dates for several new and returning original series, including second seasons of AMC's mystic modern-day fable Lodge 49 and horror-infused anthology The Terror: Infamy, IFC's new musical variety sketch comedy Sherman's Showcase and SundanceTV's Close Up with The Hollywood Reporter, quirky comedy Rosehaven Season 3 and the new true crime thriller No One Saw A Thing.

Netflix has announced the voice cast for 'Green Eggs and Ham,' based on the beloved book by Dr. Seuss. The upcoming animated series follows opposites "Guy" and "Sam" as they venture out on a road trip to save an endangered animal from a far off zoo. Along the way they learn to try new things like hope, friendship, and a certain delectable dish.

The Old Globe has announced The Old Globe Classical Directing Fellowship, led by the Globe's Erna Finci Viterbi Artistic Director Barry Edelstein, a leading Shakespearean scholar, author, and director. Four directing fellows-Daniel Jaquez, Delicia Turner Sonnenberg, Sam White, and LA Williams-will participate in the pilot session of this new initiative. They will be in residence from Tuesday, January 22 through Friday, January 26, 2019.
