Summer Exhibitions And Events Announced At The Guggenheim Museum

From June 18 through September 3, the Solomon R. Guggenheim Museum is open until 9 pm for Summer Tuesdays, offering music and refreshments in the museum rotunda in addition to exhibitions on view in the galleries. Films, conversations, and performances enhance opportunities for visitors to engage with the museum and the Frank Lloyd Wright designed building that celebrates 60 years as an architectural icon in 2019. Also starting in June, Summer of Know, a conversation series addressing urgent issues through the generative lens of art, returns to the Guggenheim, featuring artists, activists, and other professionals discussing topics such as LGBTQIA+ rights in a global context, environmental activism, and housing rights. AMC Networks Announces Summer 2019 Premiere Dates

AMC Networks announced today the premiere dates for several new and returning original series, including second seasons of AMC's mystic modern-day fable Lodge 49 and horror-infused anthology The Terror: Infamy, IFC's new musical variety sketch comedy Sherman's Showcase and SundanceTV's Close Up with The Hollywood Reporter, quirky comedy Rosehaven Season 3 and the new true crime thriller No One Saw A Thing.

Penguin Rep's Production AFTER By Michael McKeever Opens Off Broadway March 12

59E59 Theaters (Val Day, Artistic Director; Brian Beirne, Managing Director) is thrilled to add the NYC premiere of AFTER, written by Michael McKeever and directed by Joe Brancato, to the Winter 2018 Season. Produced by Penguin Rep Theatre and InProximity Theatre Company, AFTER begins performances on Tuesday, March 12 for a limited engagement through Sunday, April 14. Press Opening is Sunday, March 17 at 2 PM. The performance schedule is Tuesday - Friday at 7 PM; Saturday at 2 PM & 7 PM; and Sunday at 2 PM. Performances are at 59E59 Theaters (59 East 59th Street, between Park and Madison). Single tickets are $25 - $70 ($49 for 59E59 Members). Fremantle And Fabula Ink Exclusive First-Look Deal

The Oscar award-winning Fabula have forged a new first-look partnership with the global producer and distributor, Fremantle. The deal will see Fremantle collaborate with Fabula to develop a slate of original English and Spanish dramas. Fremantle will distribute the projects worldwide.

Netflix has announced the voice cast for 'Green Eggs and Ham,' based on the beloved book by Dr. Seuss. The upcoming animated series follows opposites "Guy" and "Sam" as they venture out on a road trip to save an endangered animal from a far off zoo. Along the way they learn to try new things like hope, friendship, and a certain delectable dish.

CSC And John Turturro Unveil David Rockwell Installation At Newly Named Lynn F. Angelson Theater

Classic Stage Company Theater, named for its most devoted supporter and long-standing board chair, and the John Doyle Artistic Director's Circle donor doors, on Wednesday, January 23 at 5:30pm. The installation was designed by Tony Award winner David Rockwell and the ceremony will take place prior to the evening's performance of Conor McPherson's new version of August Strindberg's The Dance of Death, helmed by Tony Award winner Victoria Clark (part of CSC's Strindberg repertory engagement with director Shariffa Ali's production of Yael Farber's Mies Julie, running through March 10 at 136 East 13th Street). Lynn F. Angelson, John Doyle, and special guest John Turturro (The Cherry Orchard, CSC 2011) will be on hand for the celebration.

The TEVYE SERVED RAW troupe – currently preparing to resume performances at The Playroom Theater – will present a selection from their show on April 15th at Carnegie Hall, as part of FROM SHTETL TO STAGE: A CELEBRATION OF YIDDISH MUSIC AND CULTURE. The Old Globe Announces Classical Directing Fellowships

The Old Globe has announced The Old Globe Classical Directing Fellowship, led by the Globe's Erna Finci Viterbi Artistic Director Barry Edelstein, a leading Shakespearean scholar, author, and director. Four directing fellows-Daniel Jaquez, Delicia Turner Sonnenberg, Sam White, and LA Williams-will participate in the pilot session of this new initiative. They will be in residence from Tuesday, January 22 through Friday, January 26, 2019.
