Carter Calvert, the Broadway actress-singer who previously wowed audiences at Bucks County Playhouse as the iconic country music legend in “Always ... Patsy Cline,” will bring her one-woman show, “Viva La Diva,” back to the historic playhouse on Sunday, August 14 at 7:00 pm.

A trio of Tony-nominated artists, Randy Skinner, Anna Louizos and David C. Woolard, will recreate their work for the Broadway revival of “Dames at Sea,” when the light-hearted, dance-centric musical debuts at Bucks County Playhouse, August 12 – September 11.

Round Room Live and Nickelodeon announced the first 50 plus cities for the U.S. tour of Blue's Clues & You! Live On Stage, a brand-new theater production based on the hit preschool television series Blue's Clues & You!, with a special stop in Detroit on October 22-23, 2022.

TheatreWorks Silicon Valley announced its 52nd season, featuring six plays and musicals to be presented November 2022 through August 2023. Three of the season's productions will be mounted at the Mountain View Center for the Performing Arts, and three will be staged at Palo Alto's Lucie Stern Theatre. The Muny announced today its full cast, design and production teams for the theatre's high-flying production of Mary Poppins this July. Find out who is in the cast. 

FEINSTEIN'S/54 BELOW, Broadway's Supper Club, will present NOW MORE THAN EVER: THE SONGS OF BILLY RECCE on July 21 at 9:30pm. In this, an intimate, irreverent evening of story songs from upcoming projects, Recce's music will be sung by a colorful cluster of the country's most talented up-and-comers and Broadway stars, alongside a rocking band.

“You Should Be Dancing” at LAGUNA PLAYHOUSE as it presents the hottest musical of the Summer, SATURDAY NIGHT FEVER, based on the Paramount/RSO Picture and the story by Nik Cohn, adapted for the stage by Robert Stigwood in collaboration with Bill Oaks, featuring songs by The Bee Gees.

Bucks County Playhouse Youth Company is accepting video audition submissions for five male roles (ages 13-18) for their upcoming production of “ALiEN8.” Audition submissions should include the following: auditioner’s name and age, singing 16-32 bars of any song, as well as reading each audition scene as Ethan, Zach, Brasfield, and Ray Berry. When the award-winning actress and playwright, Jodi Long, took her first steps on the Broadway stage in Sidney Lumet's production of “Nowhere to Go But Up,” she was entering a professional world that ran through her family's bloodline. Her Vaudevillian parents had long trod the boards – in fact, as part of a popular song and dance act, they even appeared on the Ed Sullivan show in the 1950s.

The Muny announced today that Laila Fantroy and Gabe Cytron will star as Jane and Michael Banks in the high-flying production of Disney and Cameron Mackintosh’s Mary Poppins, July 5-13, 2022. Fantroy is a rising eighth grader at Christ the King Catholic School and Cytron is a rising ninth grader at Parkway High School. Both actors are part of the Muny Kids program. Mary Poppins is directed by John Tartaglia, choreographed by Patrick O’Neill, with music direction by Brad Haak.
