BILLY RECCE – the Billboard-charting and two-time MAC Award-winning songwriter behind the musicals A Musical About Star Wars and the Broadway-bound Little Black Book– will release his effervescent new single “Come Out” on all digital and streaming platforms on Friday, May 12.

Emmy-winner and Tony-nominee Gordon Clapp, who played Detective Greg Medavoy for all 12 seasons on ABC’s “NYPD Blue,” will star as Tommy McDonald in a new production of Ray Didinger’s “Tommy and Me,” at Bucks County Playhouse, May 19 through June 17.

The Muny has announced that Ashley Blanchet, Ben Crawford, Claybourne Elder, Ann Harada, Kelvin Moon Loh, Eric Jordan Young, Holly Ann Butler, Tommy Bracco, Harrison White, Debby Lennon and Michael Hobin will star in the magical production of Disney's Beauty and the Beast, June 22 - 30, 2023.

Bucks County Playhouse Youth Company will remount their original production Alien8 this summer!

This year, Bucks County Playhouse celebrates the 55th Annual Student Theater Festival. The festival performances, which are open to the public, will be held on April 17-20 and April 24-27, 2023.

BroadwayWorld has learned a new national tour of Shrek the Musical will launch for the 2024 touring season. While no announcement has been made in regard to casting or creative team, the production has confirmed dates in Lincoln, NE from February 29, 2024.

The costume department at Bucks County Playhouse will open its wardrobe room for a holiday sale — offering a wide collection of festive frocks, and everyday ready-to-wear clothing, for sale to the public on Saturday, December 3 from 11 a.m. – 3 p.m. A special invitation-only preview night will be on Friday, December 2.

Bucks County Playhouse’s production of the Andrew Lloyd Webber–Tim Rice musical “Evita” continues through October 30. The Playhouse released a montage of scenes from the production—including portions of 'Don’t Cry for Me Argentina,” “Another Suitcase in Another Hall,” and “And the Money Kept Rolling In (And Out)”. Bucks County Playhouse will present “Hirschfeld’s Broadway,” a new multi-media presentation illustrating and celebrating some of the most loved moments in American theater as drawn by Al Hirschfeld. The one-night-only event takes place Wednesday, September 28 at 7:30 pm at Bucks County Playhouse.

Carter Calvert, the Broadway actress-singer who previously wowed audiences at Bucks County Playhouse as the iconic country music legend in “Always ... Patsy Cline,” will bring her one-woman show, “Viva La Diva,” back to the historic playhouse on Sunday, August 14 at 7:00 pm.
