Following the COVID-19 lockdown until 2 December, Chichester Festival Theatre has had to cancel or postpone some of the shows in the Autumn season.

Artistic Director Daniel Evans and Executive Director Kathy Bourne today announce a live, socially distanced season of drama, music, comedy and cabaret at Chichester Festival Theatre, running from late October to early January.

On 23rd September 2020, David Bedella, Hannah Waddingham and Joe Stilgoe along with a superb cadre of West End musicians gave of their time and talent in a show laced with equal parts emotion and humour to benefit charities that support the UK theatre community.

Each Wednesday from 9th to 30th September, a dazzling line-up of the West End's most well-loved singers will perform alongside some of theatre's top musicians in West End Unplugged (live from L-Acoustics Creations in Highgate, London) - a series of four 45-minute charity concerts.

Pianist and entertainer Joe Stilgoe has performed his new shed duet with West End star, Hadley Fraser. Together, they sing Irving Berlin's, 'You're Just In Love', which was first performed in Call Me Madam by Ethel Merman and Russell Nype.

Olivier Award winner Jamie Parker has reunited with pianist and entertainer Joe Stilgoe, his co-star in Maria Friedman's 2015 Old Vic production of Cole Porter's High Society. Both got together in lockdown for Well Did You Evah?, the number they performed together in the show, Jamie as Mike Connor and Joe as pianist Joey Powell.

Joe Stilgoe is a well-known pianist, singer and songwriter. Over the past few years, he's turned his hand to composing musicals such as The Jungle Book and The Midnight Gang. The Midnight Gang, based on David Walliams' novel of the same name is currently available online as part of the Chichester Festival Theatre at Home series. We spoke to Joe about his career and how he is spending lockdown.
