 Joe's Pub, a program of The Public Theater, continues JOE'S PUB LIVE!, its free series of live-streamed and archived performances from their iconic stage in New York City. Designed to facilitate social connection during this time of physical distancing, Joe's Pub will share multiple events with audiences worldwide each week.

At Joe's Pub, the eclectic collective of entertainers offers something for almost everyone, in a parade of approaches that ranges from sincere to oh my dear --- a mixed bag to be sure. Even though uneven, the odds are that most would find reason to smile and happily hop into the hipster heyday melee.

This month and beyond artists at Joe's Pub a?" a program and venue of The Public Theater a?" will honor legends and inspirations from across the universe of music. From shows featuring the indelible classic hits of singers like The Rat Pack, Chaka Kahn, and David Bowie to tributes of Dolly Parton and Bette Midler at the beginning of their careers, audiophiles and nostalgists have plenty to look forward to at Joe's Pub.

On loan from Brooklyn rock band The Slim Kings, singer/songwriter/guitarist Michael Sackler-Berner's new video does not rock. It doesn't folk-rock either, as fans of his solo work might expect - it swings. In MSB's dreams, it's Bennett, Sinatra, or Martin, but there's a punk side to the track because he's not a crooner by trade. It is tailor-made for people who think Bublé is cheese, but dig young gents singing and writing tunes for Big Band. Pop and jazz fans alike will latch onto this “Autumn in New York” release by the Big Apple native.

Today, Lincoln Center announced the 30th season of Midsummer Night Swing, celebrating the rich diversity of New York City with a wide range of sounds and dance styles from Tuesday, June 25, to Saturday, July 13, 2019. Fifteen nights of outdoor dance lessons and performances under the stars-covering genres like swing, rhythm & blues, ballroom, tango, salsa, and forro-bring to life the timeless magic of summer in the city.

Back By Popular Demand (well, they're back and their mamas always told them they were popular, even if no one has exactly demanded this), it's the 2nd annual edition of the show Loose Cattle are hell bent on making a holiday tradition. 

New York announces its Holiday 2018 lineup of seasonally-inspired events at the scenic waterfront venue.
