Today, Lincoln Center announced the 2018 season of Midsummer Night Swing, bringing people from all walks of life together to experience an array of sounds and dance styles from Tuesday, June 26 to Saturday, July 14, 2018. This iconic New York social dance party will feature 15 nights under the stars, with outdoor dance lessons and live performances paying tribute to the histories of Lindy hop, swing, mambo, salsa, blues, and more, while welcoming newcomers and dance pros alike to experience the joy of social dance.

Pangea presents Hally McGehean (Broadway: Annie, Peter Pan) in Upping My Numbers, with book and lyrics by McGehean and music by Joe McGinty (Psychedelic Furs, Loser's Lounge).

Joe McGinty & The Losers Lounge, perform the music of one of the greatest rock & roll concert movies of all times – The Last Waltz! Directed by Martin Scorsese, and released in April of 1978, The Last Waltz features performances by Van Morrison, Neil Diamond, Bob Dylan, Joni Mitchell, Ringo Starr, Neil Young, The Staple Singers, Dr. John, Muddy Waters, Eric Clapton, Emmylou Harris, Paul Butterfield, Bobby Charles, Ronnie Hawkins, and of course The Band: Levon Helm, Rick Danko, Garth Hudson, Richard Manuel and Robbie Robertson.

Midsummer Night Swing, Lincoln Center's premier summer dance party, today announced its 2017 season, running June 27 to July 15. Now in its 29th year, the series presents 15 evenings of social dance under the stars, featuring a lineup of artists who reflect the various music styles New York City has to offer. 

Legendary New Orleans soul singer Aaron Neville will headline the second annual WFUV High Line Bash on Friday, May 12, from 7-11 p.m.at Milk Studios, 450 West 15th Street in Chelsea. The moveable feast of music and food will also include performances in three beautiful loft spaces at Milk Studios by The Hold Steady leader and solo artist Craig Finn, singer-songwriter and visual artist Joseph Arthur, the jazz-inflected vocal group, The Hot Sardines, and country-rock singer Nikki Lane.
