Beginning March 15, 2021, Goodspeed On Demand will offer musical theatre fans worldwide a variety of streaming content that ranges from never-before-seen archive recordings of past Goodspeed productions to filmed theatrical performances by musical theatre legends to unique concerts from some of the best and brightest performers on the stage today.

Two industry veterans have teamed up to honor the 25th Anniversary of Jason Robert Brown’s SONGS FOR A NEW WORLD featuring one of musical theatre’s most inspiring finales, Hear My Song. Performer Jill Marie Burke and music director Brent Crayon enlisted the support of director Alan Bailey, and together they assembled Broadway performers, regional theatre standouts and high school musical students, to record a music video honoring the work of Jason Robert Brown and benefiting the Educational Theatre Foundation. 

Garth Kravits and Ali Ewoldt have collaborated virtually, singing 'Soon It's Gonna Rain' from The Fantasticks! 

MedWish International will host Music for Medwish, a LIVE-STREAMED event featuring some of Broadway's top artists performing from their own homes Thursday, April 9 at 8 p.m. (EST), to benefit work in support of health care workers at the front-lines of the COVID-19 outbreak. East West Players (EWP), the nation's longest-running professional theater of color and the largest producing organization of Asian American artistic work, is proud to announce the cast and creative team for Spring 2020 production of the award-winning Broadway musical Assassins. With music and lyrics by Stephen Sondheim, and book by John Weidman, Assassins will be directed by East West Players' Producing Artistic Director Snehal Desai, with musical direction by Marc Macalintal. Assassins begins performances on March 12th and runs through April 5th, 2020, with opening night on March 19, 2020.

East West Players, the nation's longest running theatre of color and largest producer of Asian American theatrical work, is proud to announce a series of special partnerships with Asian AF (the comedy variety show created by Upright Citizens Brigade Member Will Choi), and Crazy Talented Asians (the variety talent showcase created by Singer/Songwriter AJ Rafael) that will bring two multi-day events to the David Henry Hwang Theater in the Little Tokyo district of Downtown Los Angeles.

The new musical Passing Through, is wrapping up its run at Goodspeed Opera House this weekend. According to a new report, the show has its sights set on NYC.

Set amidst the rich sounds and diverse tapestry of the American landscape, Passing Through tells the incredible true story of a young man who journeys on foot from Pennsylvania to California, collecting stories as he goes. But when his trek brings to light an unresolved family crisis, he must use the lessons he's gathered to finally confront his past. Don't miss the musical that celebrates America and the power of what can happen when we open ourselves up to a stranger.

Passing Through is now open at Goodspeed Musicals. The show features music and lyrics by Brett Ryback, book by Eric Ulloa, choreography by Marcos Santana, and direction by Igor Goldin. The show is based on the memoir 'Walking to Listen' by Andrew Forsthoefel.

The new comedy musical Supportive White Parents, a 2019 Fringe Scholarship recipient, will play five performances in the Festival at the Broadwater Black Box, it was announced today. With book and lyrics by Joy Regullano, music by The Sam & Tony Show, music direction by Tony Gonzalez, choreography by Ally Vega, and under the direction of Frank Caeti, the running schedule will be Sunday 69 at 5:30pm; Sunday 616 at 9:30pm; Wednesday 626 at 10pm; Friday 628 at 5pm; Sunday 630 at 11am. Running time will be 30 minutes.
