This year's Tony Awards nominations were announced this morning by Lea Michele and Myles Frost and here they are, celebrating the best of the 2022-23 theatre season.

Audible Theater will present four additional performances of Drinking in America, written by three-time Obie Award winner Eric Bogosian, starring Andre Royo, and directed by Mark Armstrong.

Audible Inc., will present Drinking in America, written by Pulitzer Prize finalist Eric Bogosian and starring Andre Royo, as the next production opening at Audible’s Minetta Lane Theatre.

Eric Bogosian’s 1 +1, a new play, will have its off-Broadway premiere at SoHo Playhouse. Performances begin February 23 and run through March 19. Opening night is set for February 27.

Additional casting has been announced for the upcoming benefit reading of Spare Rib by Winter Miller, hosted by Samantha Bee.  Joining Kathleen Chalfant (Angels in America, The Affair) is Fala Chen (Shang-Chi and Legend of the Ten Rings, Irma Vep), Kelli Giddish (Law & Order: SVU), and Elizabeth Marvel (The Dropout, King Lear on Broadway).

On January 23 at 7:00pm at The New York Society for Ethical Culture's Adler Hall, Winter Miller, in partnership with New York Theatre Workshop and The Public Theater, with support from NYFA (New York Foundation for the Arts) present a reading of Miller's play Spare Rib.

Stage Directors and Choreographers Society (SDC) announced the results of its 2022 Executive Board election at its Annual Membership Meeting on Monday night, November 14. Evan Yionoulis was elected to serve a second term as Executive Board President.

Mixing dance, theatre, puppetry, and visual effects, The Weak and The Strong will have its World Premiere at the iconic La MaMa Experimental Theatre Club in the East Village with opening night slated for December 8.
