Cupcake Theater Company’s first full-length production post-pandemic, Tony Award-winning AVENUE Q will open January 8, 2022. Got to throw out some queries to director Brayden Hade on some behind-the-scene’s info, as well as his multi-career path to the many hats he currently wears working with Cupcake Theater.

Due to multiple positive COVID-19 cases in the company and staff, New 42 announced that all remaining performances of Jim Henson’s Emmet Otter’s Jug-Band Christmas have been canceled. Performances were scheduled to play through January 2, 2022. 

Hotsy Totsy has brought back their friend Kermit The Frog (Andy Ross) as a special co-host for this month's show. But Kermit has ideas of his own, he has visions of bringing Hotsy Totsy to the bigtime but to make that happen he envisions some changes. So, he has re-booked the show, brought in New York Drag Queen Legend Witti Repartee as our guest star and left Cherry Pitz and Handsome Brad to wonder what is going on and whose show is this anyway.

Jake Bazel has directed two national tours of The Very Hungry Caterpillar Show, as well as an international tour and two regional co-productions. The New Victory Theater announced today that five productions for kids age 3 to 8 are now available to stream as part of their 2021-22 virtual season: Erth’s Prehistoric World (Sydney Opera House), Doodle POP (BRUSH Theatre, Seoul), The Snail and the Whale (Tall Stories, London), and Anansi the Spider Re-spun and Huddle (Unicorn Theatre, London).
