Next week, 54 Below will present some of the brightest stars from Broadway, cabaret, jazz, and beyond. A recipient of the 2022 Tony Awards® Honor for Excellence in the Theatre, 54 Below celebrates Broadway musicals and writers of the past and present, promoting an ongoing engagement with their work.

TheaterWorksUSA has announced their upcoming 2022 - 2023 season, including the national touring premieres of PETE THE CAT'S BIG HOLLYWOOD ADVENTURE, EL OTRO OZ, and THE LIGHTNING THIEF: TYA EDITION, along with returning favorites touring across the country.

Many members of the Broadway community came out to support the Fund including Joel Grey, Bernadette Peters, Eva Noblezada, Reeve Carney, Amir Arison, Gavin Creel, Andrea Martin, Betsy Wolfe, Andrew Keenan-Bolger, Ann Harada and James Moye. Check out photos and video here!

Beowulf Boritt has enjoyed a twenty-five-year career in the theater and has designed more than 450 shows in New York (among them twenty-five on Broadway and more than one hundred Off Broadway), across the United States, and internationally. Now, he is a published author with his new release from Applause Books, Transforming Space Over Time. TheaterWorksUSA's acclaimed production of DOG MAN: THE MUSICAL celebrates its opening in partnership with Orlando Repertory Theatre as performances have now begun. Tickets for performances through October 2 are available at TWUSA.ORG/DOG-MAN-2022.

Birdland presented Bobby Conte in “Along the Way,” a solo concert celebrating his debut studio album. The concert featured an eclectic array of songs, all re-imagined and orchestrated by conductor/musician and producer, James Sampliner. Check out photos here!

Bay Street Theater & Sag Harbor Center for the Arts has announced performances for its final Benefit Gala, An Evening at Topping Rose, on Thursday, August 18, at 6:30 p.m., at the historic barn at The Topping Rose House in Bridgehampton. Only a few seats remain.

Routledge Press’ new book FIFTY KEY STAGE MUSICALS by Robert W. Schneider and Shannon Agnew, which rounds-up fifty musicals whose creations were seminal in altering the landscape of musical theater, is now being given a one night only concert with the artists who helped create these monumental musicals at 54 Below, Broadway’s Supper Club.

There is both relevance and humor in Larry Shue's WENCESLAS SQUARE, the latest offering  of Cesear's Forum, being presented in a limited five week September/October engagement, at Kennedy's Theatre, Playhouse Square, Cleveland, Ohio.

BIRDLAND JAZZ CLUB will present Bobby Conte – currently playing the role of PJ in the Broadway revival of Company – in his acclaimed solo concert “Along the Way” on Monday, August 15 at 7:00 PM.

Accidental Jacket Entertainment will release the official cast recording of the Broadway revival of Meredith Willson’s The Music Man, starring two-time Tony Award, Grammy Award, and Emmy Award-winning star Hugh Jackman as Professor Harold Hill and two-time Tony Award winner Sutton Foster as Marian Paroo. The full cast has been announced for the UK premiere of Mrs. Doubtfire, the new comedy musical based on the iconic movie, which will run for a strictly limited season at the Manchester Opera House from Friday 2 September 2022 until Saturday 1 October.
