Routledge Press’ highly praised new book FIFTY KEY STAGE MUSICALS by Robert W. Schneider and Shannon Agnew, which rounds-up fifty musicals whose creations were seminal in altering the landscape of musical theater, is now being given a one night only concert with the artists who helped create these monumental musicals at 54 Below.

TheaterWorksUSA's world premiere of the musical adaptation of Cat Kid Comic Club series by Dav Pilkey opens today, Sunday, July 30, at 3 PM. The limited run is written by the award-winning team of Kevin Del Aguila (book and lyrics) and Brad Alexander(music), with direction and choreography by Marlo Hunter and musical direction by Paul Staroba, and runs through August 27, 2023 at the Lucille Lortel Theatre. Due to popular demand, the new hit family stage musical of Mrs. Doubtfire, which opened this week to critical acclaim at the Shaftesbury Theatre in London, has extended bookings until June 2024, with a new weekly schedule including Sunday performances from January 2024, and over 13,000 new seats put on sale at £30 or under.

Just last night at the 76th Annual Tony Awards, Victoria Clark took home a Tony Award for 'Best Performance by an Actress in a Leading Role in a Musical' for her outstanding work in Kimberly Akimbo (currently running at the Booth Theatre).
