Today, Sutton Foster posted a video on Instagram of the final bows at The Music Man on Broadway, followed by a brief speech by Hugh Jackman. The actress celebrated her birthday yesterday, made even more special by Broadway's own Harold Hill conducting the audience and company of the show as they sang 'Happy Birthday' to the Tony winner.

Just yesterday, The Music Man kicked off its opening week with a special event including an (un)official Mayoral Proclamation by Mayor George Shinn (Jefferson Mays) and a performance by The Barbershop Quartet (Phillip Boykin, Eddie Korbich, Daniel Torres, Nicholas Ward), all to celebrate the production's 21 Broadway debuts. Breaking from the long-held Broadway tradition, the musical, led by Hugh Jackman and Sutton Foster, has instead invited critics to its opening night performance on February 10.
