Queen and Ben Elton's smash hit musical 'We Will Rock You' is back for 2022 to celebrate its 20th anniversary with a new tour in theatres across the UK, directed by Ben Elton.

Revamping the tales of ‘happily ever after’ in an empowering all-female musical romp, Disenchanted brings together a band of not-so-merry princesses, keen to rewrite their tales as old as time. Tossing their tiaras and setting the record straight, the royal renegades are here to comically belt out the truths that fairy-tales would have preferred stayed quiet.

Joining the previously announced Carrie Hope Fletcher as Veronica Sawyer, are the most popular girls in school: Jodie Steele (Chandler), Sophie Isaacs (McNamara) and T'Shan Williams (Duke) – The Heathers, with Jamie Muscato playing the mysterious teen rebel Jason Dean (JD).

Casting has been announced for the Barn Theatre Cirencester's inaugural professional production of  The Secret Garden, which will run from March 16 to April 15. A production of Jonathan Larson's ground-breaking Pulitzer Prize and Tony Award-winning musical RENT will visit Coventry's Belgrade Theatre this May.

The BBC recently welcomed Lucie Jones as one of the six artists chosen to perform the songs competing for the UK's entry into the Eurovision Song Contest. The ballad that Lucie sang, 'Never Give Up On You,' is the work of composers and lyricists The Treatment, Emmelie de Forest and Lawrie Martin. Watch her perform (starting at 27:45) HERE!

While the producers remain coy regarding an opening date and theater for the production, The New York Post's Michael Riedel reports today that sources say they have a Shubert theater lined up.
