Lempicka, led by Eden Espinosa celebrated its opening night at the Longacre Theatre and BroadwayWorld was on hand as the cast and creative team walked the red carpet ahead of their opening night bows. Check out photos from inside the festivities below!

Transport Group announced today that Denise Dickens, formerly of Abingdon Theatre Company, will join the company as its new executive director, replacing Lori Fineman, outgoing executive director. Dickens will join founding Artistic Director Jack Cummings III at the helm of the off-Broadway, award-winning, non-profit theatre company.

Today, the producers of Be More Chill announced the launch of "The Post Show Hang," a special Wednesday evening post-show encore series, that will include a performance tomorrow, Wednesday, May 29, with Gaten Matarazzo("Stranger Things"). Tony Award nominee Joe Iconis will accompany an exciting lineup of actors as they each perform a song from the Tony Award-nominated score of Be More Chill. The nominations were announced this morning by the current stars of Waitress, Shoshana Bean and Jeremy Jordan, at the official announcement event at Sardi's Restaurant, which was streamed live online here at BroadwayWorld.

The Off-Broadway League today announced nominations in 19 categories - and bestowed one special award - for the 34th Annual Lucille Lortel Awards for Outstanding Achievement Off-Broadway. The Awards will be handed out on Sunday, May 5, 2019 at NYU Skirball Center for Performing Arts, beginning at 7:00pm EST. The Lucille Lortel Awards are produced by the Off-Broadway League by special arrangement with the Lucille Lortel Theatre Foundation. Additional support is provided by TDF. Beloved and celebrated entertainer, Wayne Brady, will emcee the ceremony.
