The record-breaking Toronto production of Harry Potter and the Cursed Child will celebrate its 1-year anniversary with a week filled with activities from May 30 – June 4, 2023 at the CAA Ed Mirvish Theatre. 

Harry Potter and the Cursed Child will end its record-breaking run at the CAA Ed Mirvish Theatre in Toronto on July 2, 2023.  At a run of 13 months and more than 425 performances, Harry Potter and the Cursed Child will set a record for the longest-running professional play in Canadian history.

The Canadian Premiere production of Harry Potter and the Cursed Child has released additional tickets from $69 for sale just in time for the gift-giving season.  Ten more weeks of performances will be added, March 21 – June 4, 2023.  The new block of tickets goes on sale on Saturday December 10, 2022 at 9:45 AM ET in celebration of Platform 9 ¾ at King's Cross train station in London.  

Harry Potter and the Cursed Child at the CAA Ed Mirvish theatre will surpass 250,000 theatre goers. To celebrate this milestone, Toronto audiences will be treated to surprise-and-delight giveaways at all eight performances throughout the week of October 24th, which is when they anticipate the production will welcome its quarter-million patron.  

Sarah Afful who plays 'Hermione Granger' in Harry Potter and the Cursed Child in Toronto will be on maternity leave beginning September 30, 2022 as she prepares to welcome her second child. Temporarily replacing Sarah during her leave is Antoinette Robinson from the Broadway company who will make her Canadian stage debut.

 A veritable 'who's who' of respected Canadian theatre leaders have come together to found the Canadian Guild of Stage Directors and Choreographers (CGDC).

Due to unprecedented demand, Toronto's Harry Potter and the Cursed Child, at the newly remodeled CAA Ed Mirvish Theatre, extends its run yet again. Twelve more weeks of performances will be added from December 27, 2022 through March 19, 2023. Find out how to get tickets.

All new photos have beenn released from the Canadian Premiere production of Harry Potter and the Cursed Child. Harry Potter and the Cursed Child began performances on Tuesday May 31st and officially opens on Sunday June 19th, 2022 at the CAA Ed Mirvish Theatre.

The all-Canadian cast of Harry Potter and the Cursed Child is now ensconced in the newly re-modelled CAA Ed Mirvish Theatre where they are in the midst of technical rehearsals in preparation for the show’s first performance on Tuesday May 31st. To mark that day, a special public celebration will be held at Yonge-Dundas Square from 12 noon – 2 pm.

Tonight, April 19th, 2021 8PM EST, QUEENS FOR A CAUSE takes to the screen! The revamped Leg Up On Life original show will feature brand new performances to raise money for the organizations Artist Grant and Scholarship Programs. The show will be hosted by Jackie Cox from Ru Paul's Drag Race season 12 and Leg Up On Life Executive Director, Daniel Gold.

Leg Up On Life's first show QUEENS FOR A CAUSE is making a triumphant return on April 19th, 2021 8PM EST.

Previously announced, Leg Up On Life's NIGHT OF LIFE benefiting The Trevor Project will return to Sony Hall Monday, February 24th, 2020. The explosive arts performance party is back with a stacked line up containing some of the most enticing Choreographers, Musicians, and Drag Queens to be found in New York all coming together to raise money for The Trevor Project.

Showgirls Kyla Musselman and Jennifer Thiessen, hailing from Toronto and New York City respectively, are back with more banter for an epic third season of Tits and Teeth Podcast! 'It's a great privilege to be in our third season, and to have our reach grow,' says Thiessen. The podcast has not only been popular across Canada, but also internationally. Iconic television actor Cindy Williams, best known for her role as Shirley Feeney on the classic sitcom Laverne & Shirley plays the role of Mrs. Meers in Drayton Entertainment's production of the hit Broadway musical comedy, Thoroughly Modern Millie. The production launches the 2019 Season at the Huron Country Playhouse running from through June 22 on the Mainstage. Check out video of the production below!
