Gloucester Stage Artistic Director Robert Walsh and Interim Managing Director Chris Griffith recently announced that the non-profit theater's 40th anniversary season will include regional premiere of The Lifespan of a Fact from August 30 through September 22.  Gloucester Stage will be the first theater in the country to produce the critically-acclaimed The Lifespan of a Fact since the play's SRO smash hit world premiere Broadway run featuring Daniel Radcliffe, Cherry Jones, and Bobby Cannavale closed in January 2019.

It's showtime on NBC as the network turns into the National Beetlejuice Company to celebrate Broadway's new irreverent musical comedy.

Beetlejuice, the new Broadway musical comedy, will record a cast album to be released later this year. The show officially opened at Broadway's Winter Garden Theatre (1634 Broadway) on Thursday, April 25. The album - produced by Matt Stine, Alex Timbers, Eddie Perfect, and Kurt Deutsch - will be recorded May 5, 6 and 13.

The Drama League (Gabriel Stelian-Shanks, Executive Artistic Director) today announced the 2019 Drama League Awards Nominees for Outstanding Production of a Play, Outstanding Revival of a Play, Outstanding Production of a Musical, Outstanding Revival of a Musical, and the much-coveted Distinguished Performance Award. The new Broadway musical BEETLEJUICE has announced a $43 Digital Lottery beginning Monday, April 15, 2019.

They're back from the grave! John Malkovich will return to the West End stage for the first time in nearly 30 years in the world premiere of Bitter Wheat. Malkovich will take on the role of Barney Fein, a top dog Hollywood producer reminiscent of Harvey Weinstein.

The world premiere play, THE LIFESPAN OF A FACT, has announced a new performance schedule on Broadway. Beginning Thursday, October 25, 2018, THE LIFESPAN OF A FACT will play Monday, Friday, and Saturday at 8pm, Tuesday, Thursday, and Sunday at 7pm, and Saturday and Sunday at 2pm at Studio 54 (254 West 54th Street). The production opened on Broadway on October 18 to critical acclaim.

The Broadway premiere of AMERICAN SON has just announced additions to its producing team. The play will be co-produced by a team that includes Shonda Rhimes, Jada Pinkett Smith, Gabrielle Union-Wade, Dwyane Wade, Steve Stoute and Nnamdi Asomugha. They join a team that includes Kerry Washington's Simpson Street, Jeffry Richards, Rebecca Gold and Will Trice.
