Based on the acclaimed Broadway play, the Netflix Television Event AMERICAN SON tells the story of Kendra Ellis-Connor (Emmy-nominee Kerry Washington), the mother of a missing teenage boy, as she struggles to put the pieces together in a South Florida police station. Steven Pasquale, Jeremy Jordan and Eugene Lee also reprise their roles in the adaptation which presents four distinct viewpoints, while also navigating the unique dynamic of an interracial couple trying to raise a mixed-race son.

Bay Street Theater is pleased to announce the World Premiere of SAFE SPACE had the official opening night on June 29. The show runs through July 21. This new play by Alan Fox is directed by three-time Tony Award winner Jack O'Brien (All My Sons, Henry IV, Hairspray, The Coast of Utopia). The play stars Mercedes Ruehl (Torch Song, upcoming film Hustlers, Bay Street's Viva la Vida!), Sasha Diamond (Blindspot, The Romanoffs, Murphy Brown) and Rodney Richardson (The Day Shall Come, CBS's FBI, Somebody's Daughter).

Rehearsals have begun for David Mamet's new play Bitter Wheat which opens at the Garrick Theatre in London on Friday 7 June 2019, with a press night on Wednesday 19 June 2019. The run, which was originally scheduled to finish on 14 September, now finishes on Saturday 21 September 2019.

GSC Announces Regional Premiere Of Broadway's LIFESPAN OF A FACT

Gloucester Stage Artistic Director Robert Walsh and Interim Managing Director Chris Griffith recently announced that the non-profit theater's 40th anniversary season will include regional premiere of The Lifespan of a Fact from August 30 through September 22. Gloucester Stage will be the first theater in the country to produce the critically-acclaimed The Lifespan of a Fact since the play's SRO smash hit world premiere Broadway run featuring Daniel Radcliffe, Cherry Jones, and Bobby Cannavale closed in January 2019.
BEETLEJUICE Will Release a Cast Recording Later This Year

Beetlejuice, the new Broadway musical comedy, will record a cast album to be released later this year. The show officially opened at Broadway's Winter Garden Theatre (1634 Broadway) on Thursday, April 25. The album - produced by Matt Stine, Alex Timbers, Eddie Perfect, and Kurt Deutsch - will be recorded May 5, 6 and 13.
