Photos: Inside Rehearsal For THE BAKER'S WIFE at Menier Chocolate Factory

All new rehearsal photos ahve been released for The Menier Chocolate Factory’s major revival of Stephen Schwartz and Joseph Stein’s The Baker’s Wife with Lucie Jones and Clive Rowe. The production opens on 17 July, with previews from 6 July, and runs until 14 September.

Review: THE BAKER'S WIFE at The Alchemy Theatre

Gifting yourself with the talent that makes up this cast is worth the visit, though one must consider the evening will be long based on pacing issues within the show. Nonetheless, it is easy to see the promise in Alchemy Theatre’s production of THE BAKER’S WIFE.

J2 Spotlight's THE BAKER'S WIFE Opens Tonight

J2 Spotlight Musical Theater Company is opening the third production of its 2022 season, Stephen Schwartz (music and lyrics) and Joseph Stein’s (book) celebrated musical The Baker’s Wife, based on the film La Femme de Boulanger by Marcel Pagnol and Jean Giono tonight, Thursday, March 10  at Theater Row (410 West 42nd Street).

J2 Spotlight Musical Theater Company announced the company, along with photos from the first day of rehearsal, for the organization’s third production of its 2022 season, Stephen Schwartz (music and lyrics) and Joseph Stein’s (book) celebrated musical The Baker’s Wife, based on the film La Femme de Boulanger by Marcel Pagnol and Jean Giono. 

J2 Spotlight Musical Theater Company Announces 2022 Season

J2 Spotlight Musical Theater Company has announced the exciting three-musical lineup for its second season. The 2022 season, running February 10 - March 20, 2022 at Theatre Row (410 West 42nd Street - between 9th and Dyer Avenues), will include A Class Act, A Day in Hollywood / A Night in the Ukraine, and The Baker’s Wife. 

State Theatre New Jersey Presents THE MAN WHO PLANTED TREES

State Theatre New Jersey presents The Man Who Planted Trees on Saturday, May 11, 2019, at 12:30pm and 3pm. The 3pm show is an Autism Friendly Relaxed Performance. State Theatre New Jersey's Autism-Friendly Relaxed Performances allow families with children on the autism spectrum or with other sensory sensitivities to enjoy high quality live entertainment in a safe, welcoming, sensory-friendly environment. All three performances will take place in the State Theatre's Studio space. Tickets are $15.

Puppet State Theatre Company Presents THE MAN WHO PLANTED TREES

This multi-sensory theatrical adaptation of Jean Giono's environmental classic tells the inspiring story of a shepherd who plants a forest, acorn by acorn, transforming a barren wasteland. As much a touching tale as it is a hilarious puppet show, "The Man Who Planted Trees" shows us the difference one man (and his dog!) can make to the world.

Casting Announced For Paul Claudel's BREAK OF NOON

During 2018, the Finborough Theatre celebrates 150 years of the Finborough Theatre's building - and its birthday also coincides with the 150th anniversary of the birth of French symbolist playwright Paul Claudel. As part of the #Finborough150 celebrations, the London premiere in English of Paul Claudel's Break of Noon (Partage de Midi) plays for six Sunday and Monday evenings and Tuesday matinees from Sunday, 27 May 2018 (Press Night: Monday, 28 May 2018 at 7.30pm).

Puppet State Theatre of Scotland returns to The Alden in McLean for the first time since 2011 for a single performance of its award-winning show, "The Man Who Planted Trees." The show will be presented at 2 p.m. on Today, Oct. 15. Tickets are $15, $10 for McLean tax district residents. The theatre is located at 1234 Ingleside Avenue, inside the McLean Community Center.

A modern day fable of love that has remained a cult favorite, the musical features the songs 'Meadowlark' and 'Proud Lady,' amongst the many other hidden treasures in this musical. This rarely produced musical will warm the hearts of romantics and cynics alike because this is story is not about true love but about the truth in love and how it shapes us. Directed by Barrie Gelles, The Baker's Wife will open tonight, March 7th at 8pm.
