Just last night, Roundabout Theatre Company honored the great Chit Rivera at its 2022 Gala 'Paint the Town' at the Ziegfield Ballroom in New York City. The evening celebrated Ms. Rivera's contribution to the theater and include the presentation of The Jason Robards Award for Excellence in Theatre.

Emmy, SAG, and Tony Award nominee Norm Lewis premiered a new solo concert program with The New York Pops, led by Music Director and Conductor Steven Reineke, at Carnegie Halls Stern Auditorium/Perelman Stage. One Night Only: An Evening with Norm Lewis highlights Norms illustrious career on stage, including his leading turns in Les Misrables, The Phantom of the Opera, Porgy and Bess, and Sweeney Todd.

Jennifer Campos Productions celebrated the opening of Talene Monahon's JANE ANGER or The Lamentable Comedie of JANE ANGER, that Cunning Woman, and also of Willy Shakefpeare and his Peasant Companion, Francis, Yes and Also of Anne Hathaway (also a Woman) Who Tried Very Hard at Bobos. 

Manhattan Theatre Club is presenting the world premiere of Prayer for the French Republic, written by Drama Desk Award winner Joshua Harmon and directed by Tony Award winner David Cromer. The production opened Tuesday, February 1 at New York City Center – Stage I (131 West 55th Street).

Becoming Dr. Ruth, starring Tovah Feldshuh and written by Mark St. Germain, enjoyed a successful evening for its Off-Broadway opening night at Edmond J. Safra Hall at the Museum of Jewish Heritage in New York on Thursday, December 16.

KAREN MASON has announced that the new music video for the song “We Never Ran Out of Love (We Just Ran Out of Time)” is available today, Monday, December 13. The video is edited by Michael Lee Stever. It was the recipient of the 2020 “Jamie deRoy Songwriting Award” from The ASCAP Foundation, given to its songwriter Paul Rolnick.

There have been lots of Sinatra type tribute shows over the years performed by many talented artists. However, the one that brings you the closest you will ever come to the man and his music was performed by Bob Anderson last night at Carnegie Hall.  

In comes Company! Just last night, the much anticipated revival of Company, starring Tony winner Katrina Lenk and two-time Tony winner Patti LuPone, opened on Broadway at the Bernard B. Beautiful music was made on Monday, December 6, when hostess/producer Jamie deRoy brought her multi-MAC Award-winning Variety Show, Jamie deRoy & friends, back to Birdland.

Eighteen months later, Jamie deRoy returns to the live venue stage with some marvelous mates and her signature tune.

Last night an audience of friends gathered in Birdland to enjoy an evening with everyones favorite friend… Jamie deRoy.  Jamie presented a group of her Broadway celebrity friends to schmooze and perform at what always turns out to be an exciting evening of world class entertainment.
