Chess will play its final performance on Sunday, June 21, 2026 at Broadway’s Imperial Theatre after over 250 performances starring Aaron Tveit,  Lea Michele and Nicholas Christopher.

Theater Resources Unlimited (TRU) will host a Tony Awards watch party fundraiser, limited to 60 attendees, featuring a buffet, Tony Pool ballots, and a chance to cheer on several TRU-affiliated nominees.

The 2026 Chita Rivera Awards ceremony was held recently. Among the stars in attendance were Robyn Hurder, Charlotte d'Amboise, Steven Van Zandt, Tony Yazbeck, and many more.  Check out photos here!

Directed by Caitlin Sullivan, this darkly funny coming-of-age tale is soaked in sweat, scripture, and competition, where faith tangles with survival and tenderness bucks like a wild animal.

Aaron Tveit's 'Pity the Child' from the Chess cast recording will be released tonight at midnight. The new single comes ahead of the full cast recording's release this Firday, April 10. The album will be released on CD and vinyl later this year.

Jamie deRoy will receive an honorary doctorate from Carnegie Mellon University at its 2026 commencement. The Tony Award-winning producer will be honored for her work in theatre. The ceremony will take place in Pittsburgh.
