Ross Petty Productions announces their farewell production at Toronto's historic Elgin Theatre this winter. PETER'S FINAL FLIGHT: The PAN-Tastical Family Musical! will run from December 2, 2022 to January 7, 2023.

At a press conference held at the Four Seasons Centre for the Performing Arts in the Richard Bradshaw Amphitheatre, the Toronto Alliance for the Performing Arts (TAPA) announced 235 nominations for the 42nd Annual Dora Mavor Moore Awards, which recognize excellence in professional theatre, dance and opera in Toronto.

The series stars Elliot Page, Tom Hopper, David Castañeda, Emmy Raver-Lampman, Robert Sheehan, Aidan Gallagher, Justin H. Min, Colm Feore, Ritu Arya, Justin Cornwell, Britne Oldford, Jake Epstein, Genesis Rodriguez, Cazzie David, Javon ‘Wanna’ Walton, and Jordan Claire Robbins.

Today, Netflix announced the premiere date for Season 3 of the hit series, The Umbrella Academy. The new season will be available for streaming exclusively on Netflix on Wednesday, June 22nd.

 In the last two years, only a handful of shows have been on the stages of the Mirvish theatres under very restrictive conditions. But this spring holds the most promising opportunity for theatre to truly return to our city, albeit with safety protocols in place.

The Mirvish theatre season is changing due to unforeseen developments in this pandemic. After consulting with our team of doctors, they are moving some of their shows from this winter into the spring, when the current situation is expected to be resolved and it will be safe again to enjoy live theatre performances.

Due to the Ontario’s new Covid closures, Jake Epstein’s exuberant and bittersweet musical love letter to show business, Boy Falls from the Sky, has been rescheduled from its original January 2022 run at the CAA Theatre to April/May 2022 at the same venue.

Marking 20 years since the series premiere, the panel will feature creatives and cast from across the show’s impressive 14-season run as they revisit iconic storylines and moments from the series, the show’s groundbreaking approach to young adult storytelling, behind-the-scenes stories, and more.
