It will be directed by Alison Tanney. The role of Gabe will be cast shortly. 

Nick Gaswirth (The Great Comet; Wicked), Tim Realbuto (Yes; Assassins), and Laurissa 'Lala' Romain (South Pacific; The 8th) will star in Play Reading Fridays' production of Neil LaBute's a?oeIn A Dark Dark Housea?? benefiting The Actors Fund. It will be directed by Alison Tanney.

Grammy Award nominee Jawan M. Jackson, who originated the role of Melvin Franklin in Broadway's AIN'T TOO PROUD - THE LIFE AND TIMES OF THE TEMPTATIONS, has been tapped to play the role of Jake in Theresa Rebeck's comedy THE UNDERSTUDY for Play Reading Fridays.

Lesli Margherita (Matilda; Dames At Sea) and Andrew Kober (Hair; School of Rock) will star as Roxanne and Harry, respectively, in Play Reading Fridays' production of Theresa Rebeck's comedy a?oeThe Understudya?? benefiting The Actors Fund.

Previously announced Ashley Loren (Moulin Rouge!; Jekyll & Hyde) will no longer star as Christina in Play Reading Fridays' production of 'Red Light Winter' benefiting The Actors Fund. Ms. Loren had to leave the production due to a last minute family emergency.

Joe Carroll (Bandstand; Once the musical) and Ashley Loren (Moulin Rouge!; Jekyll & Hyde) will star as Matt and Christina, respectively, in Play Reading Fridays' production of a?oeRed Light Wintera?? benefiting The Actors Fund. It will be directed by Alison Tanney. Casting for the role of Davis will be announced shortly.

Play Reading Fridays, which usually donates all proceeds to The Actor's Fund has chosen to donate all proceeds to The Trevor Project for their upcoming live stream of Bert V. Royal's satire DOG SEES GOD: CONFESSIONS OF A TEENAGE BLOCKHEAD. 

Erika Henningsen has been cast as Laura Wingfield in The Actors Fund benefit reading of the Tennessee Williams classic 'The Glass Menagerie.'

Just last night, Off-Broadway's The New Group honored its Board President Abby Merrill and Erica Schmidt and Peter Dinklage (Cyrano) at the its Annual Gala, this year celebrating the company's 25th Anniversary.

The 19th annual Tribeca Film Festival, presented by AT&T, today announced its 2020 Shorts Program lineup. Setting a record with over 6,100 submissions, the final program roster includes 64 diverse and captivating short films from 20 countries around the globe, and features 46 world premieres, including DreamWorks Animation's new animated short, To Gerard. The short films will be presented in 10 distinct competition programs which include five narrative, four documentary, and one animation program. For the fourth consecutive year, 40 percent of the selections are directed by female filmmakers. Queen Collective by Procter & Gamble in partnership with Queen Latifah, Flavor Unit Entertainment and Tribeca Studios is back, a program dedicated to supporting gender and racial equality behind the camera. The 2020 shorts lineup is programmed by Sharon Badal and Ben Thompson. The 2020 Tribeca Film Festival takes place April 15 - April 26.

The Hayes theatre was hoppin' last night as Grand Horizons officially opened on Broadway. Written by Bess Wohl and directed by Leigh Silverman, GRAND HORIZONS stars Jane Alexander (Nancy), James Cromwell (Bill), Priscilla Lopez (Carla), Ben McKenzie (Ben), Maulik Pancholy (Tommy), Ashley Park (Jess), and Michael Urie (Brian).

Pulitzer Prize and Tony Award winner Tracy Letts (August: Osage County) returns to Broadway this season with Linda Vista, a brutally comedic look at Wheeler, a 50-year-old divorcee in the throes of a mid-life spiral. LINDA VISTA will play a strictly limited 8-week engagement, officially opening last night, October 10, at the Hayes Theatre. We're taking you to the red carpet below!

The new company of Jez Butterworth's The Ferryman is now performing in the acclaimed play at Broadway's Bernard B. Jacobs Theatre, and celebrated last night at the Brazen Tavern. 

The Ferryman, currently playing at the Bernard B. Jacobs Theatre (242 W. 45th Street) in an extended engagement through July 7, has just welcomed new cast members!
