The acclaimed production of Harvey Fierstein's Torch Song ends its run today, January 6, 2019 at the Hayes Theater (240 West 44th Street). The play will embark on a national tour launching fall 2019 at Los Angeles' Center Theatre Group at the Ahmanson Theatre. The national tour will star Michael Urie, reprising his lauded Broadway performance as Arnold Beckoff.

The acclaimed production of Harvey Fierstein's Torch Song will end its run at the Hayes Theater (240 West 44th Street) prior to embarking on a national tour launching fall 2019 at Los Angeles' Center Theatre Group at the Ahmanson Theatre. "Torch Song Tea," the monthly cocktails and conversation series for the Broadway community, will welcome leading LGBT chefs and food writers to discuss food and family, on Sunday, December 9 from 6:30 - 8 PM at The Lambs Club (132 West 44th Street).

The play is no longer titled TORCH SONG TRILOGY and the venue is no longer known as The Little Theatre, but there's still a marvelous homecoming taking place at The Helen Hayes, where Second Stage's recent Off-Broadway revival of Harvey Fierstein's groundbreaking TORCH SONG has transferred to the home of its historic original Broadway run.
