The strengths and flaws of the American jury system are laid bare – as are the prejudices and social attitudes of those standing in judgment – in Reginald Rose's classic Twelve Angry Men, which opens at Palm Beach Dramaworks on December 9 (8pm). The Cape Playhouse, the country’s longest running professional summer theater, will end its exciting 2022 summer season with its upcoming production of 'The Fantasticks'. What better way to round out a fantastic repertoire of shows, and who better than the Playhouse to bring the longest running musical in world history to a Cape Cod stage? Undoubted to leave as lasting an impression on Cape audiences, 'The Fantasticks' is set to run from September 7th -17th at the iconic Dennis, MA theater.

Based on the book by Craig Lucas and inspired by the seven-time Academy Award-winning 1952 musical comedy film, An American in Paris brings the legendary music of George and Ira Gershwin to the stage from August 3rd -13th. Featuring such classics as “I Got Rhythm,” “S’Wonderful” and “Shall We Dance”, this marks the show’s debut performance on a Cape Cod theater’s stage. With a timeless story and unforgettable characters, audiences have something quite special to look forward to this August.

Forty-one years after its premiere at the Ahmanson Theatre, Will Geer’s Theatricum Botanicum will present the world premiere of an “all new” revival of The West Side Waltz by Academy Award-winning writer Ernest Thompson (On Golden Pond).

As Always, Jimmy Stewart is set to play at Theatre West on Saturday, July 9th at 8pm and Sunday, July 10th at 3pm. Theatre West is located at 3333 Cahuenga Blvd. West, in Los Angeles, CA 90068. The show is written by Steve Nevil and Ted Snyder, directed by Ted Snyder, and produced by Dina Morrone for Theatre West. Tickets are $35 in advance or $40 at the door. Gettysburg College's Majestic Theater will celebrate 15 years of Summer Classic Movies when the annual series begins June 8 at 7:30 p.m. in the historic 1925 auditorium. Enjoy classic movies in the beautifully restored historic theater Wednesday nights at 7:30 p.m. June through August. Tickets for each film are just $8 and are on sale now. LEGENDS AND BRIDGE is a comedy imagining former, silver-screen legend Joan Crawford (matronly, washed-up, and pickled on spiked Pepsi) who invites Judy Garland (recently fired from her CBS TV show) and Bette Davis (bitter at no longer being the “Queen of Hollywood”) up to her Manhattan apartment in 1964 to live with her as they work on a “secret” film project.
