Tom Waters and The Promenade Playhouse announce their participation in 12000 Voices. "12 Angry Men,"12 Impassioned Women, in a Nationwide Reading with an all-female cast on April 6, 2019. Natalia Lazarus will direct this event at the Promenade Playhouse at 7:30PM.

On Golden Pond, the stage version of a beautiful story that was an Oscar - winning film (starring Henry Fonda and Katherine Hepburn), is coming to Middlebury. Poor Lost Circus Performers' production will open March 21 and close March 24 at the Town Hall Theater, Middlebury, Vermont.

Inspired by the successful reading of the classic play, "12 Angry Men," by Reginald Rose this fall featuring 12 Broadway actresses, producer Lauren Class Schneider announced in January that women in law schools, universities, high schools, community and regional theaters, and community centers across the country were invited to raise their voices - with scripts in hand - in readings of the play with all-female casts over the weekend of April 5-8, 2019.

Last week, during an appearance on CBC's “The Strombo Show,” Broken Social Scene debuted two new songs, “Can't Find My Heart” and “1972.” Today they announce Let's Try The After - Vol 1, a new EP that will be released on February 15th via label Arts & Crafts. The Ojai Film Festival and Women In Film (WIF) will present a Legacy Series event with acclaimed actress Eva Marie Saint on Friday, November 9 at the Ojai Art Center. The intimate filmed interview produced by WIF's Ilene Kahn Power and Dorothea Petrie, directed by Petra Haffter, and edited by David Flores and Zachary Weintraub, is a 40-minute retrospective of the Academy, and Emmy award-winning star's career in film, television and stage. The event begins at 4 pm with the screening, followed by Q&A with Ms. Saint. A reception will follow.

Irene Bedard, the Anchorage-born actor of Native descent who gave voice to Pocahontas in the Disney animated films, among other groundbreaking roles, will play the Stage Manager in Perseverance Theatre's 40th season opener, Our Town. The iconic American drama by Thornton Wilder, featuring an all-Alaskan cast directed by Art Rotch, will play Oct. 5-Nov. 3 at the theatre in Juneau, and Nov. 9-25 at the Alaska Center for the Performing Arts in Anchorage.
