Berkshire Theatre Group (BTG) and WAM Theatre have announced the addition of two extra performances of their co-production, What the Constitution Means to Me. Due to overwhelming demand and the incredible response from audiences, these additional shows will take place on Sunday, May 28 at 7pm, Tuesday, May 30 at 7pm and Sunday, June 4 at 2pm at the Unicorn Theatre in Stockbridge, MA.

Syracuse Stage has announced two musicals that will complete the lineup for the organization's 50th anniversary season. Audiences are immersed in the soulful music of Billie Holiday with Lady Day at Emerson's Bar and Grill, Oct. 18 – Nov. 5.

The Cape Cod Theatre Project (CCTP) announces its 2023 Season of New Plays, running Thursday, Friday and Saturday nights at 7:30 PM ET from June 29th-July 22nd at Falmouth Academy's Simon Center for the Arts. Rattlestick Theater, in partnership with the Terrence McNally Foundation and Tom Kirdahy Productions, have announced the three (3) inaugural Terrence McNally New Works Incubator fellows: Molly Bicks, HyoJeong Choi and Haygen-Brice Walker.

Michelle Hand is mesmerizing as Heidi, driving nearly all of the play’s dialogue. Her indelible presence is captivating. She enters, introduces herself as Heidi and tells the audience about her mother’s vision to help her pay for college by winning VFW sponsored debates about what the constitution means to her. Throughout the play, Hand steps in and out of character as the adult Heidi, the 15-year-old Heidi, and as herself addressing the audience. As the play unfolds, she unpacks her thoughts on The Constitution, the Ninth and Fourteenth Amendments, and she tackles themes of women’s equality, reproductive rights, sexual assault, domestic abuse, immigration, and the decisions significant legal cases have had on women in the United States. Hand’s outstanding performance and her conviction for presenting Heidi’s dialogue is unforgettable. When she is playing Heidi, she completely disappears into the role and her electric oration of the subject matter is authentic and convincing.
