Grand Teton Music Festival Closes 58th Summer Season With Record-Setting Attendance

The Grand Teton Music Festival's 58th summer season concluded with two sold-out performances of Tchaikovsky's Violin Concerto, performed by the incomparable Augustin Hadelich. A fitting end to the season celebration of nature, the programs also featured Lyadov's The Enchanted Lake.

Showtime Documentary Films Announces THE KINGMAKER

Today, SHOWTIME Documentary Films announced that the latest feature from Emmy winning director Lauren Greenfield (The Queen of Versailles), THE KINGMAKER, will have its world premiere at the Venice Film Festival this August. The documentary centers on the indomitable character and controversial political career of Imelda Marcos, the former first lady of the Philippines whose behind-the-scenes influence of her husband Ferdinand's presidency rocketed her to the global political stage. THE KINGMAKER will screen at additional festivals in the upcoming months, followed by a theatrical release this fall and a world television premiere on SHOWTIME in early 2020.

There's no doubt that dark times are ahead for the people of Berlin in this faithful recreation of the tawdry 1998 Tony Award-winning Broadway revival of CABARET. Using the original Broadway sets by Robert Brill and costumes by William Ivey Long, this Ogunquit Playhouse version, running now through August 10, is rough, tough and gritty, taking the implied decadence and hedonism of pre-World War II Germany and attaching it blatantly to every denizen of the speakeasy known as the Kit Kat Klub.

The evening was hosted by Arnold Schwarzenegger. Talent who accepted grants on behalf of nonprofit organizations included Arnold Schwarzenegger, Taron Egerton, James Corden, Kerry Washington, Ali Wong, Regina Hall, Rob Lowe, Jamie Bell, Ramy Youssef, Corinne Fox, Sistine Stallone, Camila Morrone, Renée Zellweger, Eva Longoria, Sacha Baron Cohen, Jon Favreau, Justin Hartley, Ben Platt, Beanie Feldstein, Josh Lucas, Julia Butters, and Taika Waititi.

Pop-Rock Musical about Vincent van Gogh, STARRY, to Debut at Edinburgh Fringe

The film will receive its European Premiere on Wednesday 2 October at Odeon Luxe, Leicester Square.
