Complete casting has been announced today for the Broadway production of the hit musical Girl from the North Country. Austin Scott, star of FX's a?oePosea?? and Hamilton, will join the company in the role of Joe Scott. Also announced are new ensemble members Jennifer Blood, Law Terrell Dunford, and Chiara Trentalange.

Kyo-Shin-An Arts's TRIOS EAST AND WEST Concert Will Benefit Disaster Relief For Typhoon Hagibis

In response to the destruction caused by Typhoon Hagibis in Japan, Kyo-Shin-An Arts and Arts at Tenri will donate all box office proceeds from the TRIOS EAST AND WEST concerts to disaster relief responders for Typhoon Hagibis.

A new video was released today celebrating the hit musical Girl from the North Country. Filmed in the Dylan Room at the historic Troubadour in London, the video features stars Rachel John (Mrs. Neilsen in the West End and Toronto productions) and Jeannette Bayardelle (Mrs. Neilsen at The Public and on Broadway) meeting and performing together for the first time. Casting has been announced today for the Broadway production of the hit musical Girl from the North Country. Reprising their roles from the production at The Public Theater will be Todd Almond, Jeannette Bayardelle, Matthew Frederick Harris, Caitlin Houlahan, Robert Joy, Tony Award nominee Marc Kudisch, Luba Mason, Ben Mayne, Tom Nelis, Tony Award nominee David Pittu, Colton Ryan, John Schiappa, Kimber Elayne Sprawl, Rachel Stern, Chelsea Lee Williams, and Tony/Academy Award nominee & two-time Emmy Award winner Mare Winningham. Joining the production in the role of Nick Laine will be Jay O. Sanders. Complete casting will be announced soon.

Big River is a musical adventure with book by William Hauptman and music and lyrics by Roger Miller - Yes that Roger Miller. Based on Mark Twain's classic 1884 novel, Adventures of Huckleberry Finn, it features country and bluegrass music styles to keep with the rustic and adventurous setting of the novel.

Huntington Offers Free Tickets To ROMEO AND JULIET To All Young Patrons

In an effort to engage young, new audiences and offer the opportunity to experience equal representation on stage, the Huntington Theatre Company has announced that it will now offer free tickets to all young patrons 25 and under for the remainder of performances of Romeo and Juliet. Romeo and Juliet is now playing through March 31 at the Huntington Avenue Theatre (264 Huntington Avenue, Boston).

The Grammy-nominated Western Wind vocal sextet will present O Western Wind… celebrating the 50th Anniversary of The Western Wind Vocal Ensemble which began in 1969.  The 50th Anniversary Gala Concert will be Saturday, March 23 at 8:00 pm at Merkin Concert Hall (129 West 67th Street, New York City). A Gala Reception at the hall will follow the concert. The event will honor the 50-year career of founding member and countertenor William Zukof, who will be stepping down from his singing role in August 2019.
