Cameron Mackintosh's spectacular new production of Andrew Lloyd Webber's THE PHANTOM OF THE OPERA, will make its highly anticipated premiere at the Arts Centre Melbourne's State Theatre.

 Davine Productions premiered Beautiful, The Carole King Musical in 2020 and will be bringing back the highly successful production for an encore season in July this year. This Tony, Olivier and Grammy-winning musical will once again play at The Star Theatre, Hilton and will feature the same leading cast.

Nine exciting Broadway productions will thrill Lincoln audiences in the 2021-2022 Glenn Korff Broadway series at the Lied Center, and Broadway legend Bernadette Peters will present an unforgettable one-night-only engagement. In all, the 2021-2022 season will feature more Broadway productions than any season since the Lied Center's founding!

Opera Australia in association with The Really Useful Group, will present Cameron Mackintosh’s new production of Andrew Lloyd Webber’s THE PHANTOM OF THE OPERA, finally making its anticipated premiere at the Sydney Opera House.

In FUNNY HOW IT HAPPENS, Jarrod and Kelli skillfully selected the songs they performed to incorporate songs meaningful to their relationship, songs significant to their careers, and songs that have traditionally been audience favorites.  Every song was an excellent choice, whether they performed them solo or as a duet.  Their harmony and stage chemistry resonate the deep connection of two performers who are deeply in love with each other and want to communicate that love to their audiences.  I enjoyed every song whether it was a song I was familiar with or not.  Among the songs were “Close to You,” “Ain’t No Mountain High Enough,” “Will You Love Me Tomorrow,” “Be My Baby,” “You’ve Got a Friend,” “Cabaret,” “I Got You, Babe,”  “New York State of Mind,” and even a lounge act arrangement of “You Give Love a Bad Name.”  The instrumentation, during this time of social distancing, was a solo piano, brilliantly played by Adam Ben David.   

Dates are announced today for the 2021/2022 Premera Blue Cross Broadway at The Paramount season bringing back extraordinary entertainment to The Paramount Theatre. They have announced that they have rescheduled six shows and were able to add back the previously cancelled production of MEAN GIRLS to complete the season package.
