GLAAD announced additional stars of the stage and screen that will be joining the 31st Annual GLAAD Media Awards virtual ceremony.

GLAAD, the world's largest lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, and queer (LGBTQ) media advocacy organization, today announced that it will host a virtual ceremony for the 31st Annual GLAAD Media Awards on Thursday, July 30 in place of the original ceremonies planned for earlier this year.

Michelle Danner Acting Studio and Los Angeles Acting Conservatory's online acting classes will continue during the Coronavirus outbreak while on-site classes have been temporarily cancelled. “D. Wade: Life Unexpected,” a new feature documentary from ESPN Films and Imagine Documentaries, will debut on Sunday, February 23, at 9 p.m. ET on ESPN. The film, directed and executive produced by Wade's long-time friend and cinematographer Bob Metelus, chronicles three-time NBA champion Dwyane Wade's experience on and off the court as he enters into his final year in the league, and reflects on personal and professional victories and set-backs throughout his legendary career. The film includes scenes from hundreds of hours of never-before-seen home movies, exclusive video diaries, and all-access verité footage shot over the last decade. Imagine Documentaries' President Justin Wilkes and EVP Sara Bernstein produced the film alongside Imagine Entertainment Chairmen Brian Grazer and Ron Howard, as well as with Academy-Award nominated and Emmy Winning producer, Sam Pollard.

The Paley Center for Media will present A Salute to Black Achievements in Television Presented by Citi from February 1-March 1. This monthlong celebration will include an interactive exhibit focusing on comedy, spotlight BET Network's 40th anniversary, as well as family activities, education classes, and screenings featuring some of the most influential names in entertainment. Entering into its 15th season as the most watched entertainment show of the summer, NBC's America's Got Talent (AGT) will once again begin scouring the country in search of the most talented variety acts the nation has to offer. 

HBO Max strengthens its drama team with a talented group of seasoned players. The senior executives tapped to lead original scripted drama for HBO Max were announced today by Joey Chavez, Executive Vice President, Original Drama, HBO Max. Joining the drama team are Roberto Alcantara, Vice President, Drama; Chika Chukudebelu, Vice President, Drama; and Mark Tuohy, Vice President, Drama. All executives report to Chavez who oversees creative development. With an accomplished collective of skills in scripted, the group will create a rich slate of original dramas for WarnerMedia's direct-to-consumer offering scheduled to launch in spring of 2020.

The votes are in and America has chosen Kodi Lee as the winner of “America's Got Talent” season 14. Lee wins the show's $1 million grand prize and will headline “America's Got Talent Live” at the Paris Theater at Paris Las Vegas Nov. 7-10.

Season One of the Spectrum Originals hit drama L.A.'s FINEST has locked up over 3 million viewers to date.  During the week of its release (May 13, 2019 week of broadcast finales), the Sony Pictures Television-produced series debuted as a top-rated TV drama, becoming the #1 drama among broadcast series and #2 drama overall second only to “Game of Thrones” in Spectrum homes, beating all broadcast and SVOD dramas. The unstoppable series continues to add viewership through its 16th week (per Nielsen live+35 ratings, LAF 35 day reach, May-September 2019).
