Actor, director and comedian Frank Ferrante, star of An Evening With Groucho and the cirque show Teatro ZinZanni, took his act to Facebook Live on March 22nd.

Award-winning actor and director Frank Ferrante brings his acclaimed portrayal of Groucho Marx to Mayo Performing Arts Center on Friday, March 27 at 8 pm. Tickets for An Evening with Groucho are $29-$59.

Entertainers Frank Ferrante  (An Evening With Groucho) and Matt Roper (I'll Say She Is: The Lost Marx Brothers Musical)  number among the cast of Lakeshore Records release today of the studio album, a companion to the recently released graphic novel Giraffes on Horseback Salad.  Written by pop culture historian Josh Frank (Fool the World: An Oral History of The Pixies), the vividly illustrated book is based on a screenplay written in 1937 by famed Surrealist Salvador Dali as a potential movie for the Marx Brothers. 

The Seattle-based circus, comedy, and cabaret spectacle Teatro ZinZanni has arrived in Chicago with the hybrid show LOVE, CHAOS AND DINNER. And ZinZanni serves up entertainment with a capital a?oeEa?? in this production. The evening alternates between decidedly low-brow slapstick comedy scenes, musical numbers, and some stunning aerial and circus acts.

Walnut Street Theatre will host its 19th Annual Live and Silent Auction, the All Hallows Eve Masque'd Auction on October 26th.  America's Oldest Theatre will be filled with ghost stories and spirits galore on this haunted night where the mysterious and eerie can occur.  Guests of the Masque'd Auction will be invited to bid on items including a luxury vacation at the Chateau de La Napoule near Cannes, France, luxury vacations, wine country tours, and even access to the Walnut's renowned costume collection for a Halloween or a special New Year's Eve outfit,  with proceeds benefitting the Walnut's Education Department.

BroadwayWorld has just learned that Seattle's Teatro ZinZanni will open at Chicago's Cambria Hotel beginning April 2019. The announcement was made at a press conference this morning.

Individual show tickets for the Walnut Street Theatre's 2018-19 Season will go on sale to the public online on August 12. Patrons will be able to purchase tickets to any of the Walnut's Mainstage shows - Irving Berlin's HOLIDAY INN, Roald Dahl's MATILDA THE MUSICAL, Ken Ludwig's A COMEDY OF TENORS, THE CURIOUS INCIDENT OF THE DOG IN THE NIGHT-TIME, and LEGALLY BLONDE: THE MUSICAL. The Box Office will open on Monday, August 13 for in-person ticket sales.
