San Diego Junior Theatre, the nation's longest-running youth theatre program, presents The Snowy Day and Other Stories by Ezra Jack Keats, the second show of its 74th Season and a Junior Theatre premiere!

The enchanting moments of a child's world will be lovingly and humorously displayed when Magik Theatre presents The Snowy Day and Other Stories by Ezra Jack Keats from Feb. 12 to March 19, 2022. The musical play will be adapted for the stage by Jerome Hairston and produced by special arrangement with Plays for New Audiences, a division of Children's Theatre Company.

Houston Grand Opera (HGO) is now offering single tickets to the 2021–22 season at HGO.org. After an all-virtual 2020–21 season through HGO Digital, the company will launch its triumphant return to live performance at The Wortham Theater Center on October 22, 2021.

After more than a year, Hammonds House Museum is happy to announce that the museum will reopen to the public on Friday, June 25.  Patrons and members have participated in the robust virtual programming offered by the museum since last summer, and now they will be able to come back into the museum to enjoy viewing the artwork in person!

This winter, The Coterie presents Mesner Puppet Theater's production of The Snowy Day and other stories by Ezra Jack Keats, an endearing adaptation of Ezra Jack Keats' award-winning book. The Snowy Day is streaming online now for families and virtual field trips through January 3, 2021.

On Thursday, December 10, Houston Grand Opera will release The Making of The Snowy Day: An Opera for All on HGO Digital.

This holiday season, The Coterie presents Mesner Puppet Theater's production of The Snowy Day and other stories by Ezra Jack Keats, an all masked, socially distanced, live show running at The Coterie Theatre with an online streaming option available for those who are unable to attend in person.

After carefully weighing options, in accordance with recommendations from global health leaders, Houston Grand Opera has made the difficult decision to cancel the remaining mainstage productions for the 2020–21 season. The company now plans to resume live, in-person performance in the fall of 2021.
