Unbound: A Book Launch Series with BAM and Greenlight Bookstore returns this fall with three engaging events.

The Maternity Monologues, a new play from Catherine Higgins-Moore that explores issues of birth, pregnancy and motherhood, will play the Dream Up Festival 2019 on September 5, 7, 8, 11 and 12 at Theater for the New City's Community Space, 155 First Avenue, New York City. Tickets are $15.

This fall, the Rubin Museum of Art has organized a series of talks, workshops, films, and experiences about the power of going against the grain titled The Power of Non-Conformity. On May 13, the OBIE-winning HERE will honor MacArthur fellow Taylor Mac and the Doris Duke Charitable Foundation ArtsProgram at BLOOM, HERE's annual spring gala. The evening celebrates Mac, a playwright, actor, singer-songwriter, performance artist, director and producer and "critical darling of the New York scene" (New York Magazine) who also has been HERE's resident playwright since 2016. Mac's current Broadway debut, Gary: A Sequel to Titus Andronicus, was commissioned by HERE and written during Mac's residency.

Last night, WP Theater held its 40th Anniversary Gala honoring game-changing women with the Women of Achievement Awards.
