She draws her inspiration from an eclectic array of artists, including Bonnie Raitt, Etta James, Eva Cassidy, Nina Simone, Whitney Houston, Beyonce, and the Pointer Sisters, the many. Yet, simultaneously, she refuses to be bound by any parameters.

Bees Deluxe, return to the Shrine World Music Venue on Friday, August 5th as part of an East Coast tour. The band, led by British guitar monster Conrad Warre, have wowed audience from Maine to Miami and played with national blues acts like: Ronnie Earl, Joanne Shaw Taylor, Matt Schofield, Roomful of Blues, Walter Trout and David Maxwell.

The track is a beautifully imperfect sound that makes you want to go along for the ride. Atlanta based friends, co-songwriters lead vocalist Wes McGee and guitarist Jeff Hayashi contribute to Bonneville’s instantly recognizable style and sound - raw, deep, greasy, swampy, classic soul grooves with a R&B, funk, blues edge.

Las Vegas headliner, singer-songwriter Michael Grimm, winner of Season 5 of NBC’s America’s Got Talent, continues his monthly residency, Givin’ It To ‘Em. The show, with pianist Bill Zappia, will be performed at the Stirling Club Jul. 2 and Aug. 6.

Folks like George Strait and Martina McBride cut her songs early on, and since then, she's penned hits for the likes of Trisha Yearwood, Pam Tillis, Bonnie Raitt, and Neil Diamond, and was inducted into the Nashville Songwriters Hall of Fame in 2014. LISA TINGLE and DAVID GAYLER worked with TIM PALMER (Robert Plant, Ozzy Osbourne, Tin Machine, The Mission, U2, Pearl Jam), who also contributes guitar on 'Fragile'. This EP also features TOM BRECHTLEIN (Eric Johnson, Robben Ford, Al DiMeola, Jean-Luc Ponty and Rickie Lee Jones) and RICKY PHILLIPS (Styx, Coverdale/Page, Bad English, The Babys).

Samm Henshaw announced that he will join the esteemed lineup of R&B and hip hop greats like J. Cole, H.E.R. and T-Pain for the upcoming Day N Vegas festival. He recently wowed attendees of his Houston show at The Bronze Peacock at House of Blues Houston with a powerful performance of “Take Time,” a track off his debut album, Untidy Soul.

Jake La Botz has also shared the title track and its music video, directed by Owl Martin Dwyer. La Botz recently signed with Mongrel Music for North American booking, and announced a handful of tour dates for this Summer. More shows to be announced soon.

Cassa Pancho’s Ballet Black turned 20 last year and to mark this milestone they celebrated with a double bill of two works seen at the Barbican earlier this year and now touring; one an out and proud affirmation on their journey as a company and the second a tribute to their ancestry and heritage.

Opera Columbus will present a reimagined production of Leslie Savoy Burrs and John A. Williams’ Vanqui as part of its 40 Days of Opera festival. Helmed by Crane Directing Fellow Luther Lewis III, the opera is part of a partnership with The Ohio State University’s Journeys to Equity program.

Denver Center for the Performing Arts Cabaret announces two shows for the summer lineup at The Garner Galleria Theatre; Rockin' and Rollin' with Miss Rhythm: The Story of R&B Legend Ruth Brown plays two weekends only June 3&4 and June 10&11, and Dixie is back where it all started with Dixie's Never Wear a Tube Top While Riding a Mechanical Bull (and 16 Other Things I learned while I Was Drinking Last Thursday) June 22 through July 17. Sarasota Orchestra concludes several of its subscription series in the month of April with exceptional fanfare. The first weekend of the month begins with the long-awaited first Masterworks program of Bramwell Tovey's tenure as Music Director. In the subsequent weeks, the Orchestra offers a rousing conclusion to its Pops and Great Escapes series with programs showcasing the Great American Songbook and music depicting the Wild West. 

The genre-bending band, Bees Deluxe, stops by Silvana to deliver a dose of acid blues on Thursday, March 3rd from 10pm-midnght. Banned in Boston, exiled from Britain, Bees Deluxe makes Harlem the first stop on their East Coast tour.
