The Jazz Ensembles of Mount Holyoke College present the 17th edition of The Big Broadcast! on Friday, March 11 at 7:30 p.m.

SISTAS THE MUSICAL has announced its return on April 2 at Off-Broadway's The Actors Temple Theatre for an open-ended run. This live musical production is written by Fulbright Scholar and Columbia University professor Dr. Dorothy Marcic, based on interviews with Black women over several years

The album is a digital compilation featuring recordings from Darin's years with Capitol Records and Motown Records in the early 1960s, including “More” and “Call Me Irresponsible,” which was recently featured in the hit HBO show “Euphoria.” The singer's management also signed with 7S Management for Estate representation.

Chandler Center for the Arts announces its Showtime Series for 2022. Republic Records and Apple Original Films have teamed up with Deaf West Theatre (David Kurs, Artistic Director) to release the official music video for the single “You’re All I Need To Get By (Duet Version)” from the CODA “Soundtrack from the Apple Original Film” today.

The Brooklyn Beat was a collective of bands that coalesced around Park Slope's Lauterbach', the boroughs answer to CBGB, from the late-1980s - mid-1990s. Warre was a member of several bands, Chemical Wedding, led by scene and The Shirts' founder Bob Raccippio, and his own band, Tornado Room.

They also flew in their drummer Rob Humphreys (Leonard Cohen, Jason Mraz) for the recording and worked with Chad Copelin (Sufjan Stevens, Christina Perri, Ben Rector) back in Oklahoma for keys and additional production as well as keyboardist Dan Walker (Heart). 

On October 10, pianist Jeffrey Siegel officially relaunches indoor Hylton Presents performances in Merchant Hall with his concerts with commentary Keyboard Conversations Classics Declassified. Siegel hands off the baton to the Metropolitan Jazz Orchestra on October 30 for their Big Band Era performance Swingin' with the Met.

Christina Aguilera slayed the packed 17,500-seat Hollywood Bowl audience with her amazing vocals and her emotion-filled songs for the first of her two nights performing with Gustavo Dudamel and the LA Philharmonic Orchestra. At the top of her game, Christina looked great and sounded fantastic!

In response to an overwhelming demand, “ICONS • The Art of Celebrity Illusion” has added a second show on Saturday, August 28, at 8 p.m. at Mizner Park Cultural Center.

NJPAC is welcoming live, in-person jazz back to its stage throughout 2021 beginning with Grammy Award-winning vocalist Gregory Porter (Sep 24). The TD Jazz Series continues in the Fall with 'Salsa Meets Jazz' (Sep 25), saxophonist Boney James (Oct 14), and vocal powerhouse duo Tierney Sutton and Ann Hampton Calloway (Oct 15).

The MV Concert Series announced another round of top touring musicians that will be performing at the Loft on Martha's Vineyard. Martin Sexton, Badfish, moe., Dwight and Nicole, and Dalton & The Sheriffs join a packed lineup at the Loft, which includes acts like Livingston Taylor, Joan Osborne and Ripe. The moe. shows will be a special Beach Road Weekend after party.
