Sometimes even the best of work could use a little revising, even God's. That's the premise behind Fulton's latest comedy on the fourth floor, An Act of God. God played by the hilarious, Erin Maguire, has decided to update the Ten Commandment and provides some fresh insight and commentary along the way. She is joined by fussy archangel, Gabrielle (Michael Iannucci) and skeptical tag-along archangel, Michael (Anson Woodin).

The nationally regarded Fulton Theatre will present the divine comedy An Act of God, February 13 - March 8, with previews February 11 and 12. Due to a large advance, and the increasingly popularity of the Ellen Arnold Groff Studio Series, An Act of God is adding a week of performances, which was originally scheduled to close on March 1.

 Carolines on Broadway, New York City's premier comedy venue, presents its talented line-up for the month of October, highlighted by headliners Chris Hardwick, host of AMC's The Talking Dead, October 3 - 5; Damon Wayans, Jr., from the film Let's Be Cops, Columbus Day Weekend, October 11 - 13; Michael Rapaport, host of the podcast, October 17 - 19; K-Von, from NBC's Last Comic Standing, on October 20; Youtube sensation Jason Nash, October 24 and 25; Amir K, from the CW's Madtv, October 24 and 25; and T.K. Kirkland, presented by The Breakfast Club, on October 26 .

'No Name... & A Bag O' Chips' comedy / variety show producer Eric Vetter recently announced two July 2019 shows at Otto's in Manhattan with the first on Friday, July 12th to feature Liz Miele (CD 'Mind Over Melee'), Doug Smith (CONAN on TBS), Emily Winter(co-creator What A Joke National Comedy Festival), Troy Alan (Laughs on Fox TV) and John Minus (Stand-Up 360 festiva).

Don't Tell Mama's Friday night comedy series will feature a headline act on April 26th.

On Jan 26th, 2019 NEWSical The Musical, the 10th longest running Off-Broadway show and 3rd longest running musical revue in NY history, will be celebrating its 3000th performance at Theatre Row.  To celebrate the milestone the show will be receiving a proclamation from Speaker of the City Council, Corey Johnson, as well as a proclamation from the New York State Assembly.

The cast of GETTIN' THE BAND BACK TOGETHER have had many guests from the Broadway community throughout its run. Among those were Lori Tan Chinn, Baayork Lee, Paul Shaffer, Andre De Shields, Denise Burse, Tracie Thoms, Jose Llana, Celia Keenan-Bolger, Marsha Mason, Alex Newell, Daniel K. Isaac, the kids from SCHOOL OF ROCK, Eric William Morris and his cast members from KING KONG.

Anniversaries are times to reflect, to evaluate, but also to celebrate. Yesterday with its 60 Years of Musical Theatre: The Best of Maine State Music Theatre gala concert, the Brunswick theatre pulled out all the stops with a big, beautiful Diamond Jubilee gala that proved a stunning culmination to this milestone season. And indeed, six decades after Victoria Crandall launched her dream at the Pickard Theater on the Bowdoin College campus, MSMT can boast numerous reasons to celebrate its history, as well as its present accomplishments and future aspirations. In a matinee and evening stagings that featured musical performances by twenty-one soloists and an ensemble of ten, as well a number of spoken tributes, Artistic Director Curt Dale Clark architected a program that was classy, heartfelt, and rich and deep in the talent it showcased. As with any commemorative event, the program tapped into nostalgia and memory but blended these with a strong sense of the vigorous, energetic, imposing presence this company has become - not only in Midcoast Maine but also as a force in national regional theatre.

Broadway's newest intimate concert venue – has announced the solo debut of Mykal Kilgore, the celebrated vocalist from The Wiz Live! on NBC TV, Postmodern Jukebox, Motown on Broadway and more, for a two night concert engagement Friday, March 9 at 9:30 PM and Saturday, March 10 at 7:00 PM. These shows will feature original music from Mykal's upcoming album and covers of some of music's most heralded pop favorites with a Kilgore twist. After performances for “The View,” the Mayor of New York, and Brooklyn Nets, these live intimate shows powerfully return Kilgore to the concert stage.

Olivier Award winner Lesli Margherita plays 'Cindy Lou Who' in the world premiere of Matthew Lombardo's new comedy with a twist of rhyme, WHO'S HOLIDAY! directed by Carl Andress, which celebrated its opening last night, November 28.
