Flying Over Sunset is officially in previews on Broadway! The musical, with book and direction by James Lapine, music by Tom Kitt, and lyrics by Michael Korie, and choreography by Michelle Dorrance will open Thursday, April 16.

Lincoln Center Theater has announced an online ticket lottery for its new musical FLYING OVER SUNSET, beginning with the musical's first preview Thursday, March 12 at 8pm at the Vivian Beaumont Theater (150 West 65 Street). The musical, with book and direction by James Lapine, music by Tom Kitt, and lyrics by Michael Korie, and choreography by Michelle Dorrance will open Thursday, April 16.

North Shore High School is getting ready to welcome a new class of students! As BroadwayWorld previously reported, four original company members of Mean Girls depart the production: Grey Henson (Damian), Kate Rockwell (Karen), and Barrett Wilbert Weed (Janis), who play their final performances tomorrow, March 8, and Erika Henningsen (Cady), who played her final performance on February 22. Catherine Brunell (Something Rotten!, Thoroughly Modern Millie) will join the cast of Mean Girls as 'Mrs. Heron / Ms. Norbury / Mrs. George' beginning tonight, Wednesday, December 11. Tony Award nominee Jennifer Simard played her final performance in the roles on Sunday, December 8.
