Millennium Stage is a manifestation of the Kennedy Center’s mission and vision to welcome all to celebrate our collective cultural heritage. Millennium Stage will offer free live community performances, streamed live, plus online programs and film screenings, Wednesday–Sunday each week throughout our campus.

The Meat Cats, Britt & Irina, present a bi-monthly show that brings audiences a taste, sorry, an antipasto platter of the city's hottest acts. Their past shows have featured comics seen on Comedy Central, HBO, Netflix, MTV, and more. Their first two shows, at Chelsea Music Hall and Union Hall respectively, both sold out - so grab your tickets!

 Carolines on Broadway, New York City's premier comedy venue, announces its talented line-up for the month of May, with headliners Yvonne Orji, from HBO's Insecure, on May 1; Jason Banks, from TruTV's Laff Mobb's Laff Tracks, May 5 - 7; Nick Colletti, from Facebook Watch's The Real Bros of Simi Valley, on May 13; Joe Machi, from NBC's Last Comic Standing, on May 14; Joe Dombrowski, as seen on Ellen, BuzzFeed and GMA, May 19 - 21; and Renny, from MTV's Wild 'N Out, Memorial Day Weekend, May 26 - 29.

Spend spring and summer at the South Orange Performing Arts Center,  where you'll see “the most exacting of the Zeppelin tribute bands in existence,” the 85-year-old Madman of Salsa, “the poet laureate of Louisiana's fertile Roots music scene,” Bruce Springsteen's longtime drummer, “[the] millennial shaking up the Jazz world,” a co-founder of the Byrds and more. Cackle, giggle, snicker, chuckle—however you like to laugh, these comedians will have you cracking up. Settle in for an evening of side-splitting comedy during SOPAC's monthly Laughs in the Loft stand-up series. Hosted by local comedian Joe Larson, each show features several comedians in a New York City-style showcase. Laughs in the Loft is held every first Wednesday of the month.

Comedians from The Late Show with Stephen Colbert, The Marvelous Ms. Maisel, and the New York City Sketch Festival will be joining, while guests can take advantage of food and drink specials at Gotham West Market.

Matteo Lane is a New York-based comedian whose stand-up special can be seen on  Netflix's The Comedy Lineup. He's appeared on The Late Show with Stephen Colbert, Late Night with Seth Meyers, HBO's Crashing, and Will & Grace. Matteo was also a cast member on MTV's GirlCode, as well as MTV2's GuyCode and Joking Off. 

Bay Street Theater & Sag Harbor Center for the Arts has announced the return of Joseph Vecsey and All Star Stand-up Comedy on Thursday, January 28, at 8 p.m. EST. This online comedy showcase marks All Star Comedy’s 11th season with the Theater.

City Farm Presents released show and lineup updates for the 3rd Brooklyn Podcast Festival which takes place January 22 - 26, 2020 in Brooklyn, New York. Featuring more than 15 podcasts over 5 days, the Festival will be hosted at The Bell House, Union Hall, and BRIC House. Tickets are currently on sale for all announced shows. 

Joe's Pub was filled with laughter and 'gaiety' (in both senses of the word) on Monday night at Dyke the Halls. Carolyn Bergier, host of the Dyking Out podcast, put together a truly diverse variety show line up, with performers from all types of backgrounds and performance styles. Standouts included Eman El-Husseini and Jess Salomon, a Jewish-Muslim married couple, stand up by Emma Willmann, and a downright strange but very funny burlesque number by Nyx Nocturne that played on 'All I Want For Christmas Is My Two Front Teeth' with a sexy, porn-esque dentist-themed dance.
