Following a critically acclaimed run at Soho Theatre earlier this year, audiences will take centre stage as work.txt comes to Summerhall for the Edinburgh Festival Fringe. work.txt is a show without any actors, where the audience perform the whole show.

Tina Satter's Is This A Room, which premiered on Broadway in 2021, will be adapted into a new film. The new film will star Euphoria actress Sydney Sweeney as Reality Winner. The cast is also set to include Josh Hamilton and Marchánt Davis. Satter will adapt the script for the new film with James Paul Dallas.

Nominations for the 2022 Tony Awards were announced this morning, and while a select, talented few will spend the day celebrating their achievements, there are many who (while still great!), didn't get a nomination this year. Check out who else was eligible below. Following a critically acclaimed digital version work.txt online, audiences will take centre stage as work.txt returns for an in-person run at Soho Theatre. work.txt is a play about a person in a city who has stopped working, and the audience must work together to attempt to figure out why through various means.

 The Tony Awards Administration Committee met yesterday to confirm the eligibility status of 12 Broadway productions for the 2021-2022 season.  This was the first time the Tony Awards Administration Committee met to decide the eligibility for the 75th Annual Tony Awards. The Tony Awards are presented by The Broadway League and the American Theatre Wing.

Artistic Directors Douglas Aibel and Sarah Stern just presented Ryan J. Haddad with the 2021-2022 Paula Vogel Playwriting Award at the Vineyard Theatre’s annual Emerging Artists Celebration. 

BroadwayWorld has just learned that the Broadway productions of Is This a Room and Dana H., which were previously set to conclude performances next week at the Lyceum Theatre, will extend for an additional two weeks. Both plays will play their final performances on November 28, 2021.

GHOST WALK is a site-specific, digital audio show for the streets of City of London, playable on audience's smartphones. Created by multi-award-winning POLTERGEIST THEATRE, star casting includes Juliet Stevenson, Lydia West, Adam Buxton, Paterson Joseph, Nina Wadia & Tanya Reynolds, and original music by Alice Boyd.

The Broadway productions of Is This A Room and Dana H. will conclude their limited engagement on Sunday, November 14 at Broadway’s Lyceum Theatre (149 W 45th Street, New York, NY). Dana H. will play its final performance at 2pm on Saturday November 13, 2021. Is This A Room will play its final performance at 3pm on Sunday November 14, 2021.

Artistic Directors Douglas Aibel and Sarah Stern announce that Ryan J. Haddad is the recipient of the 2021-22 Paula Vogel Playwriting Award. Haddad will be presented with the award at The Vineyard's Emerging Artists Celebration on Friday, November 12 at 5:00pm at Broken Shaker Cocktail Bar at Freehand (23 Lexington Avenue).

Honoring Emmy Award-winner and Grammy Award-nominee Wayne Brady, the event was hosted by Grammy Award-winner Kandi Burruss and featured performances by Broadway stars Tituss Burgess, André De Shields, Telly Leung, Bonnie Milligan, and more.

Dana H., by Obie Award winner Lucas Hnath and directed by Obie Award winner Les Waters, just opened last night, October 17, at Broadway's Lyceum Theatre, playing on a rotating schedule with Is This a Room.
