It's the party at the end of the world - and it's the show of the year. Rebecca Frecknall's astonishing revival of John Kander and Fred Ebb's 1966 musical, starring Eddie Redmayne and Jessie Buckley, is truly a revelation, as is the extensive revamp of the Playhouse Theatre.

Anna-Jane Casey is known for her roles in shows such as Chicago, Forbidden Broadway, and Annie Get Your Gun. She is currently playing Fräulein Kost in the recent revival of Cabaret at the Playhouse Theatre. We spoke with Casey about being in the show.

The producers of CABARET at the KIT KAT CLUB have just released new images of the production starring Eddie Redmayne as ‘The Emcee’, Jessie Buckley as ‘Sally Bowles’ and Omari Douglas as ‘Cliff Bradshaw’. 

As the Kit Kat Club opens its doors in the West End for the first time, ATG Productions and Underbelly, the producers of CABARET at the KIT KAT CLUB have revealed a first look of the production starring Eddie Redmayne as ‘The Emcee’, Jessie Buckley as ‘Sally Bowles’ and Omari Douglas as ‘Cliff Bradshaw’.

CABARET at the KIT KAT CLUB in London’s West End announced today the official daily mobile lottery in partnership with TodayTix for six exceptional £25 seats per performance, including tickets at a cabaret table.

Ahead of performances starting for CABARET at the KIT KAT CLUB on Monday 15 November, shots of the show in rehearsals have been released.

ATG Productions and Underbelly, the producers of CABARET at the KIT KAT CLUB in London's West End have announced the Prologue Company, ahead of the production's first preview performance on Monday 15 November 2021.

Full casting is announced today, Monday 6 September, for the musical CABARET at the KIT KAT CLUB in London’s West End. Joining the previously announced Eddie Redmayne as ‘The Emcee’ and Jessie Buckley as ‘Sally Bowles’ will be Omari Douglas as ‘Cliff Bradshaw’, Liza Sadovy as ‘Fraulein Schneider’, Elliot Levey as ‘Herr Schultz’, Stewart Clarke as ‘Ernst Ludwig’ and Anna-Jane Casey as ‘Fraulein Kost’.

Mia McKenna-Bruce, star of BBC and Netflix series 'Get Even,' will headline Ella Greenwood's 'Smudged Smile,' a short film on teenage depression that kicks off a mental health anthology series.

Due to the ongoing Covid-19 restrictions, the producers have made the decision to postpone the forthcoming run of Good, starring David Tennant. The production was due to play from 21 April – 17 July 2021.  

It is refreshing to see the Almeida come back with something a little different: a play with songs about loss and connection. Co-created by Chris Bush, Rebecca Frecknall, and the six-strong cast, Nine Lessons and Carols is far from your cosy festive treat, instead opting to address situations with black comedy and an air of gloom. 

Almeida Theatre has announced a socially distanced season of three world premieres for Christmas 2020 and into 2021.

Almeida Theatre will launch its season on December 2 with Nine Lessons And Carols, a new play from Chris Bush examining themes of isolation and connection.

C.P.Taylor's GOOD, starring David Tennant and directed by Dominic Cooke, which was due to open this October, is to be postponed until Spring 2021.

Dominic Cooke and Kate Horton launch their company Fictionhouse with a new West End production of C. P. Taylor's GOOD, starring David Tennant, Fenella Woolgar and Elliot Levey. Produced by Fictionhouse and Playful Productions, GOOD will play at the Playhouse Theatre for a strictly limited season from Tuesday 6 October (Press performance Wednesday 14 October).

It's Christmas Eve and Andy (Elliot Levey) is waiting for his daughter Maya (Ellen Robertson) to come back to him. She left home three years prior after they had - according to her father - a silly argument and she hasn't spoken to him since, nor has she replied to his texts. But someone has seen her in a café in Oxford, so Andy feels that she's ready to finally meet him. He's decked the village hall to welcome her back and he's sure she's coming, even though there are no signs of her. Then, Natalie (Amber James) bursts through the door.

The London première of Mike Bartlett's latest play Snowflake will run at Kiln Theatre over Christmas. Clare Lizzimore directs Elliot Levey (Andy) and Ellen Robertson (Maya) who created their roles in the original run at Old Fire Station in Oxford; and they will be joined by Amber James (Natalie). The production opens on 16 December, with previews from 10 December; and also announced today ,the production extends for an additional week, now running until 25 January 2020. Peter Capaldi (Doctor Who, The Thick Of It, Paddington) will star in Martin's Close, airing this Christmas on BBC Four.

Director Rebecca Frecknall and actress Patsy Ferran recently picked up deserved Olivier Awards for their revelatory revival of Summer and Smoke. Now, they're back at the Almeida, bringing that fresh approach to well-known Chekhov instead of obscure Tennessee Williams.
