Elle vient retrouver George, amenant une bouteille de Whiskey. La pièce est trilingue, elle est en français, en espagnol et en anglais.

Gina Torres has boarded romantic comedy THE HATING GAME, joining previously announced leads Lucy Hale and Robbie Amell. Peter Hutchings (THEN CAME YOU) will direct Christina Mengert's adaptation of the bestselling novel by Sally Thorne. The film is produced by Claude Dal Farra, Brice Dal Farra, and Brian Keady of BCDF Pictures. Shooting starts in August in New York. Mister Smith Entertainment is co-financing and will handle sales. 

On Saturday, July 27 at 8 pm, BLACK BOX Cabaret presents "I Only Wanna Laugh," an evening of musical shenanigans with Ali Funkhouser, The ACME Rhythm Section, and violinist Irina Fainkichen.

 GRAMMY Award-winning superstar Miranda Lambert is thundering back to country radio with her brand new single “It All Comes Out in the Wash,” which premiered this morning across radio stations nationwide – Lambert's first taste of new solo music in nearly three years.

Opening The Bunker's Autumn Season the curated festival This is Black will premiere theatre productions by four new and exciting Black writers across an alternating double-bill. Exploring identity, family relationships and universal struggles, the festival will showcase All the Shit I Can't Say to My Dad by Abraham Adeyemi and Blue Beneath My Skin by Macadie Amoroso with PYNEAPPLE by Chantelle Alle and Melissa Saint and Teleportation by Ronk? Adekolu?jo.

At an exclusive event held at Henry's Canada, Buffer Festival announced the creators who will be premiering original content at their 7th annual festival.

THE BLACK BOX will present a concert celebrating the music of the highest-grossing animated film of all time: Disney's Frozen. The concert will feature a narrated telling of Elsa and Anna's story with live performances of the film's songs as well as new music written for the current Broadway production. Enjoy the memorable songs of Kristen and Robert Lopez in concert on Tuesday, August 6 at 7:00 pm at THE BLACK BOX located at 15 W. Central St. in downtown Franklin. Tickets are $20 for adults, $15 for teens, $10 for youth 6-12, and $5 for kids 5 and under.

Performances began on July 11, 2019 for a limited engagement through Sunday afternoon, August 25, 2019 at The Argyle Theatre (34 West Main Street, Babylon, Long Island). Opening Night is Saturday evening, July 13, 2019 at 8:00 p.m. Legally Blonde is presented through Music Theatre International.

The Spotlight Kidz had the honor of performing on the USS Intrepid to celebrate Independence Day on July 4th.  Taking part was Grace DeAmicis who is currently in HARRY POTTER AND THE CURSED CHILD as well as Miranda DeMott, Michela Erksa, Elle Graper, Alexis Jade Meloe, Addisan Ricard, Alexandra Rooney, Ryan Umbarila and Eden Wanzie.

On Wednesday evening, the biggest names in sports and entertainment descended on the Microsoft Theater in Los Angeles to celebrate the year's best moments in sports at The 2019 ESPYS Presented by Capital One. The show was hosted by comedian Tracy Morgan and aired live on ABC.  Morgan's opening monologue kicked off the night on a high note – the diehard sports fan brought the laughs while discussing his recent sports car dust up and ribbed former New York Giant Odell Beckham Jr. on his departure for the Cleveland Browns.

The Finger Lakes Musical Theatre Festival (FLMTF) opens its second production this season, the song and dance spectacular, Grand Hotel. The show runs July 10 through July 31 at the Merry-Go-Round Playhouse in Emerson Park.

From September 12, 2019, through February 23, 2020, the Museum of Arts and Design (MAD) will present a major retrospective of the iconic American fashion designer Anna Sui. Opening during New York Fashion Week, the exhibition features seventy-five looks from the designer's archive-from the groundbreaking inaugural fashion show of 1991 to her Spring 2019 collection-and illuminates Sui's creative process and influences that contribute to her signature aesthetic sensibility.

Babes With Blades Theatre Company's (BWBTC) 22nd anniversary season launches with Women Of 4G, August 1 - September 14, written by Amy Tofte, direction by Lauren Katz, assistant direction by Stephanie Mattos and fight direction by Maureen Yasko. All performances are at The Factory Theater, 1623 W. Howard St. Preview performances are Thursday, Aug. 1 - Saturday, Aug. 3 at 8 p.m., Sunday, Aug. 4 at 3 p.m. and Thursday, Aug. 8 at 8 p.m. Opening Night is Friday, Aug. 9 at 8 p.m.

The Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences is extending invitations to join the organization to 842 artists and executives who have distinguished themselves by their contributions to theatrical motion pictures. The 2019 class is 50% women, 29% people of color, and represents 59 countries. Those who accept the invitations will be the only additions to the Academy's membership in 2019.
