There's something magical about watching Shakespeare at the Globe theatre, especially on a sunny summer evening. The Merry Wives of Windsor is an intricate play with various subplots and a multitude of characters and in this production, director Elle While places a 1930s spin on things.

New York Live Arts has partnered with Visual AIDS to create a large-scale installation asking "What Is 21st Century Liberation?" in honor of the 50th Anniversary of the Stonewall uprising and NYC/World Pride for the Live Arts Ford Foundation Live Gallery lobby wall. The installation is produced in conjunction with Visual AIDS' 2019 Pride Broadsheet project, designed by Avram Finkelstein, co-creator of SILENCE=DEATH, and Rodrigo Moreira.

Spotlight KIDZ CABARET, featuring talented youth, will be held tomorrow at the Laurie Beechman Theater. The event is hosted by Spotlight Kidz (Pottsville, PA) and is under the direction of Sandy Kost-Sterner. Music direction for this cabaret will be done by Jonathan Parks.

Lucie Jones is known for her roles in the Legally Blonde UK Tour, Les Miserables and most recently, LMTO's Girlfriends. She recently made her debut in the lead role of Waitress and will officially take over from Katherine McPhee on 17 June. She spoke to BroadwayWorld about joining the cast as Jenna.

Dallas-based indie rock band, Air Review, are back with a new album, How We Got By, due out June 21, 2019. The Dallas Observer writes, 'It's been a while since we last heard from Air Review. In 2013, it was hard for local music fans to avoid the indie-rock crew, thanks to its addictive single “America's Son” receiving frequent airplay on KXT 91.7, in addition to their regular performance schedule. Another tune from Low Wishes, “Young,” was also given all sorts of rightfully deserved love from glossy publications and NPR.'

My Beloved: A Ted Bundy Musical, which has book, music and lyrics by Clint Edwards, tells the story of serial killer Ted Bundy through the eyes of his long-time girlfriend Elizabeth Kloepfer, and the lawman who relentlessly pursued him, Detective Robert Keppel.

SHREK JR. returned to New York City last week for a sold out run at the Baruch Performing Arts Center. SHREK JR. was produced by Broadway Workshop and Project Broadway as their 2019 Junior Main Stage production. Scroll down for photos of the cast in action.

Today, The Trevor Project announced that talk show host, actress and producer Kelly Ripa and actor and producer Mark Consuelos will jointly be honored at the organization's TrevorLIVE New York gala with the Champions Award for their continued allyship and commitment to supporting The Trevor Project's mission to end suicide among LGBTQ (Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, Transgender, Queer, and Questioning) young people. The organization will also honor EY with the 20/20 Visionary Award for the company's work supporting LGBTQ inclusion around the world and creating a sense of belonging for all EY professionals. In addition, actress, comedian and writer Nicole Byer and actor, director and digital producer Eugene Lee Yang will co-host TrevorLIVE New York, the organization's annual star-studded signature fundraiser, on Monday, June 17 at Cipriani Wall Street in New York City. As previously announced, actress, musician, and style icon Cara Delevingne will be honored with the 2019 Hero Award.

On Wednesday, May 22, 2019, Shea's Performing Arts Center and The Lipke Foundation will present a check for $10,000 to the theatre program of Buffalo Academy for Visual and Performing Arts (BAVPA) in recognition of their Kenny Award for Outstanding Musical Production for their production of Les Miserables, which ran at BAVPA from March 27 - March 30, 2019. Expected attendees include Mayor Byron W. Brown, Buffalo Public Schools Superintendent Dr. Kriner Cash, Assembly Majority Leader Crystal Peoples-Stokes, Shea's Performing Arts Center President Michael G. Murphy, and Lipke Foundation representative/Kenny Awards Director Carlisle Lipke Mitchell.

Oh baby! Laura Bell Bundy has a new man in her life! Bundy took to Instagram to announce that she and husband Thom Hinkle just welcomed a baby boy, Huck Hinkle.

It is announced today that from Monday 17 June Ashley Roberts (Strictly Come Dancing 2018 finalist, The Pussycat Dolls) will be making her West End debut as Dawn in Sara Bareilles' hit musical Waitress for a strictly limited summer season. It is also confirmed that Lucie Jones (Rent, Les Miserables, Legally Blonde) will take over the role of Jenna from this date.

The Franklin Performing Arts Company (FPAC) will conclude its musical season with Kander and Ebb's Cabaret June 14 and 15 at THE BLACK BOX.

Packed with trivia, comedy and celebrity guests, Ask Me Another is like an amusement park for your brain. Host Ophira Eisenberg and musician Jonathan Coulton are taking the show on the road, they're heading to Seattle for a night of quizzes, games and laughs with Nicole Byer. The program, which airs weekly on KUOW 94.9FM , will tape in front of a live audience at the Moore Theatre, June 20 at 7:30 pm.
