 A one-woman comedy with balls, heart and Yorkshire grit heads to Scarborough's Stephen Joseph Theatre next month.

‘Three Degrees’ soul sensation Sheila Ferguson will star as ‘Mama Morton’ in the acclaimed UK and Ireland tour of the international smash hit musical CHICAGO. Sheila joins the recently announced Russell Watson as ‘Billy Flynn’, Faye Brookes as ‘Roxie Hart’, Djalenga Scott as ‘Velma Kelly’, Jamie Baughan as ‘Amos Hart’ and B.E. Wong as ‘Mary Sunshine’.

Last night, the winners were announced for the 79th Annual Golden Globe Awards. Among this year's winners were Rachel Zegler and Ariana DeBose for West Side Story, MJ Rodriguez from Pose, and Andrew Garfield for tick, tick...BOOM!

Tilted Keyboard Studios (TKS) has just released a virtual cover of 'Wait for Me' from the hit musical Hadestown. The purpose is to support a cause that is near and dear to their hearts: the return of theatre. Tilted Keyboard has partnered with The Actors Fund to raise money to support those in the industry who were truly hit hardest by the pandemic.

Originally performed by Kenny Loggins, “Your Heart Will Lead You Home' is the latest in Stray and the Soundtrack's series of covers from their project which has also included covers of such Disney favorites as “I 2 I” from “A Goofy Movie,” “Jack’s Lament” from “The Nightmare Before Christmas,” and “Best Of Friends” from “The Fox and the Hound.”

To wrap up my string of holiday shows for this season, I saw DISNEY'S FROZEN JR, performed by the Red Curtain Theatre, 913 W Oak Street, in Conway.

Reese Witherspoon was a guest on the Drew Barrymore Show today to promote her new film, Sing 2. At the end of the interview Witherspoon participated in Barrymore's 'Final Five', in which an audience member asked Witherspoon which of her Legally Blonde costumes that she kept is her favorite.

The Den Theatre has announced comedian Jamie Lee for four stand-up performances February 11 – 12, 2022 on The Heath Mainstage, 1331 N. Milwaukee Ave. in Chicago's Wicker Park neighborhood.

Following the triumphant return of live work at Nottingham Playhouse this autumn, today the theatre confirms its Spring and Summer Season for 2022.  The season comprises a long-awaited programme of work that was postponed from 2020 due to the first COVID 19 lockdown.

English Touring Theatre today announces that Peter Holland joins the company as Producer, having most recently worked as the producer at Frantic Assembly. He takes up the role from January 2022. He joins the organisation alongside Richard Twyman, Artistic Director & Sophie Scull, Executive Producer.
