Russell Watson Will Play 'Billy Flynn' in CHICAGO UK and Ireland Tour

Multi-award-winning UK classical singer and stage star Russell Watson will take on the role of 'Billy Flynn' in the acclaimed UK and Ireland tour of the international musical sensation CHICAGO. Russell joins the previously announced Faye Brookes as 'Roxie Hart' and Djalenga Scott as 'Velma Kelly', opening at Liverpool Empire on Monday 7 February 2022.

Peter Dinklage & The Actors Fund to Receive Honors at 2021 Gotham Awards

The Gotham Film & Media Institute announced today that actor Peter Dinklage will receive a Performer Tribute and The Actors Fund will receive the Gotham Impact Salute during the 2021 Gotham Awards Ceremony. Kristen Stewart, Eamonn Bowles, the cast of The Harder They Fall, and Jane Campion will also receive honors throughout the evening.

S’il est passé maître dans l’écriture orchestrale, la musique de chambre et l’opéra, on ne lui connaissait encore aucune mélodie pour voix et piano. Avec Amours, dédié à ses deux interprètes, il choisit la forme intimiste du cycle et les vers du grand poète de la Renaissance Étienne Jodelle. Pour servir d’écrin à cette création mondiale, le compositeur a souhaité faire entendre son quatuor n° 5, également donné pour la première fois, et l’éclatant quintette avec piano de Schumann.

Student Blog: Broadway Characters as Songs From Red (Taylor's Version)

Taylor Swift just dropped her second re-recorded album, Red (Taylor's Version), and I am more obsessed with it now than I was when it originally came out in 2012. So, in honor of this momentous album and all of the wonderful songs on it, I've decided to assign a broadway character or relationship to each of the 30 songs on the album, excluding acoustic versions and songs that are on the album twice. Also, I will be skipping 'Ronan' because that song makes me very sad and cry a lot and I cannot emotionally handle analyzing it.
