All new production photos have been released from the hit musical MJ, featuring the show’s new star, Elijah Rhea Johnson, in role of Michael Jackson. Johnson joined the production in April, which marks his Broadway debut. Check out the photos here!

Producers Lia Vollack, John Branca and John McClain have announced that the smash-hit Broadway musical, MJ, has recouped its initial investment after opening in February 2022 at The Neil Simon Theatre.

Open call auditions for the roles of “MJ” and “Little Michael” will be held in Chicago on Saturday, May 13th and in Detroit on Sunday, May 14th.

The theater community rallied together once again with spirited skits, dynamic dance and brilliant bonnets as Broadway Cares/Equity Fights AIDS’ Easter Bonnet Competition returned April 24 and 25, 2023. The performances celebrated in-theater Red Bucket appeals that raised $3,601,355 for meals and medication, health care and hope for those who need them most.

Stars, standouts and the most sensational ensembles of Broadway will unveil their best bonnets and skits at next week’s long-awaited return of the Easter Bonnet Competition! See who is taking part and learn how to purchase tickets.

Beginning today, Thursday, April 20 at 10:00am ET, a new block of tickets for MJ will available for performances through Sunday, January 7, 2024.
