The Ordway Center for the Performing Arts today announced its 2022-2023 season. The new Ordway Presents Series features four concerts, including Broadway titan Patti LuPone and multi-genre recording artist and instrumentalist Damien Sneed.
The College of Performing and Visual Arts at the University of Northern Colorado is holding its first-ever Arts Equity Summit! UNC students, faculty, and staff will come together with several guest artists from across the country for a day of workshops, discussions, and performances that explore issues of equity in the arts.
This unique concert will focus on the performance and history of excellence in African American music. Performances will include well-known and a few obscure pieces by black performers, black composers, and black folk idioms.
Join the UNC College of Performing and Visual Arts for Ukraine Aid, a concert and silent auction benefiting the people of Ukraine. The University Symphony Orchestra, led by Dr. Russell Guyver with concertmaster Edward W. Hardy, will present a program including works by Beethoven and Florence Price with guest soprano Courtney Caston. The UNC Choirs, along with Dr. Adam Zukiewicz, Dr. Melissa Malde, Drew Zaremba, and Kristi Muzzio, will also perform a variety of selections to raise awareness for Ukrainian humanitarian relief needs.
