PBS Honors Terrence McNally with Streaming of His American Masters Documentary

Playwright, librettist, scriptwriter and outspoken LGBTQ activist Terrence McNally died of coronavirus complications on March 24. American Masters explored McNally's six-decade career in the documentary Terrence McNally: Every Act of Life, which premiered on PBS on June 14, 2019. To honor the life and legacy of the playwright and activist, American Masters and PBS are making the documentary available to stream.

According to Nielsen live plus same day ratings for the week ending March 1 (week 23 of the 2019-2020 broadcast season), CBS took the ratings crown again, attracting 6.07 million viewers and beating the closest competition (NBC) by +1.35 million viewers (4.72 million, +29%). The Network continues to lead this season's viewer race with an audience of 7.81 million viewers.
LETTERS LIVE is Coming to The Town Hall in April

Letters Live, a celebration of the enduring power of literary correspondence performed by a group of renowned talent, will return to The Town Hall (123 West 43rd Street) Sunday, April 19 at 7:30 pm and Monday, April 20 at 7:30 pm in support of PEN America. A sensation since its 2013 London debut, Letters Live played to sold-out audiences at The Town Hall in 2018 and recently performed to a sold-out crowd at London's legendary Royal Albert Hall.
THE 24 HOUR PLAYS Will Launch Live Podcast

The 24 Hour Plays announced today that they will launch The 24 Hour Plays: Live Podcast! The first two of six episodes planned for 2020 will be recorded in front of a live audience at The Greene Space on Monday, March 16th at 8:00 PM.
