Review: Working Our Way Back to See JERSEY BOYS at Broadway At Music Circus

The Muny announced today its full cast, design and production teams for the theatre's production of Chicago, June 13-19. The cast features Sarah Bowden (Roxie Hart), J. Harrison Ghee (Velma Kelly), Adam Heller (Amos Hart), Emily Skinner (Matron 'Mama' Morton), James T. Lane (Billy Flynn) and Ali Ewoldt (Mary Sunshine). Isabelle McCalla and More Join the Cast of Lyric's 42ND STREET, Starring Norm Lewis and Faith Prince

Lyric has announced full casting for its production of 42nd Street, to be presented May 29 - June 21, 2020, at the Lyric Opera House, 20 N. Wacker Drive, Chicago. Previously announced Broadway stars Norm Lewis (Julian Marsh) and Faith Prince (Dorothy Brock) are joined by Isabelle McCalla (Peggy Sawyer), who recently starred in Broadway's The Prom and Aladdin, and Ashley Day (Billy Lawlor), who reprises his role from the West End revival of 42nd Street.

TOOTSIE Partners With New School's College Of Performing Arts For National Author's Day

In honor of National Author's Day today, November 1, TOOTSIE has partnered with The New School's College of Performing Arts to launch a playwriting contest for its students. Participants must submit a new, original 5-minute comedic play with the title a?oeWho Are You?a?? based off a TOOTSIE song of the same title. The winner of the contest will receive a private writing consultation with Tony Award-winning book writer Robert Horn.
