New Jersey Performing Arts Center will present an intimate evening with David Foster and Katharine Mcphee performing their hits and holiday favorites. 

Karriem Riggins and Madlib released “Otis' Tambourine,” the third single from their upcoming Jahari Massamba Unit album YHWH is LOVE. Driven by a tambourine, “Otis' Tambourine” sounds like astral jazz playing underwater. It pays homage to Jahari member Madlib's years of bold musical exploration into uncharted territory.  

Congratulations to Elisapie and Dominique Fils Aimé for their nominations for this year's JUNO Awards. Elisapie is nominated for Contemporary Indigenous Artist or Group of the Year as well as Album Artwork of the Year for Inuktitut, released via Bonsound. Dominique is nominated for Vocal Jazz Album of the Year for her album Our Roots Run Deep.

The Hollywood Bowl was honored last night as the Outdoor Concert Venue of the Year (Red Rocks Award) at the 35th Annual Pollstar Awards at the Beverly Hilton in Beverly Hills, California.

State Theatre New Jersey presents Itzhak Perlman in Recital as part of its Classical Season Celebration on February 24, 2024. The program featuring Itzhak Perlman includes Handel's Violin Sonata in E Major, Op. 1, No. 15; Beethoven, Sonata for Violin and Piano No. 9 in A Major, Op. 47 'Kreutzer'; and Schumann, Fantasiestücke, Op. 73. For this performance Perlman will be joined by pianist Rohan De Silva.

Revered producers and multi-instrumentalists Karriem Riggins and Madlib announced a March 1st release date for YHWH is LOVE, their second album together as Jahari Massamba Unit. The full-length will be the official release for Law of Rhythm, a new record label founded by Riggins and music executive Jae Barber.
